With the agreement sealed between us and the Royal Navy, I keep my end of the deal by releasing all of the Royal Navy's girls even before Roon can get to have her fun with any of them. I'll make it up to her but for now, we have more important matters to deal with. I've also ordered our entire navy to stop attacking Royal Navy ships as well as informed all our forces of the change.

It's the first time I've ordered the entire military around as opposed to merely commanding my own forces but there is little to no resistance to my words. They know I have the backing of the Fuehrer and more importantly, by now I have nearly a million men deployed just to the north of their army positions so any resistance could very quickly be crushed. Add to that the complete backing of Bergmann and his own army groups and...well...let's just say fortune wouldn't favour the bold.

The recruits have also surprised me by completing the journey to Berlin in less than 24 hours, thus allowing both armies I had surrounding the city to withdraw and begin moving to the south. Additionally, upon hearing of the reports of advances against our positions in the East, the few whom we'd rescued from the camps that chose not to fight have decided to join in and take up my initial offer. Their numbers will skyrocket my own forces to well outnumbering the rest of the nation's military combined but for now they are little more than an armed militia.

For now, however, there is only one thing on my mind and as the aircraft comes to a halt on the tarmac just outside Berlin a state of seriousness settles around everyone with me. Contrary to my initial plan, I've decided against bringing all the girls along and instead have sent Mother along with most of our girls to the South. I also had some of those defending the Fuehrer leave Berlin to join them whilst the remainder were split between remaining with me and heading off to Leningrad. I won't need everyone for what needs to be done here.

As I step out of the plane, the Sensenmänner stand at the ready. They salute as I descend the stairs and I'm met at its base by Clarissa who flew ahead with the others to begin preparations.

Me: Is everything ready?

Clarissa: Everyone's in position and awaiting your orders, Eure Hoheit.

I smile at that, motioning to a man standing by with a radio in his hand before continuing onwards. As we walk together, the Sensenmänner walk along as escorts to the awaiting armed convoy. In the distance, the sounds of battle can be heard as the army from Stettin begins the all-out assault on the city. Heavy artillery is present but only being used in a limited capacity by my own forces as I instructed them to limit the damage done to the infrastructure itself.

Overhead, aircraft engage in bombing runs to support ground advances against well-fortified SS positions. They've had a long time to prepare but so have we and now that the time has come, even though they outnumber our forces 6 to 1, the results are a foregone conclusion.

As the door of the vehicle set to carry me into the city opens, I turn to Clarissa once more. I have only a single word for her and yet with it, thousands of acts will be carried out.

Me: Begin.

Iron Blood - Sardegna Empire Border

I can't believe she sent me away like that. I didn't even get to see her and now she's probably having fun with Eugen. UGH! I will not lose to her. I will get her. She will be mine. Yes!

Me: August will be mine!

FDG: Oh?

Absolute terror runs down my spine upon hearing Friedrich's voice whispered into my ear. Turning, I find her standing just behind me, amused and yet I can tell one wrong move could very well spell my end. How did she even sneak up on me with her size and why did my serpents not alert me?
