Chapter 44

Sitting here like a ghost. I still can't believe it. I didn't talk to any of her friends and family members except for Papa. Gianna was with Nanay and Tatay.

"Ma'am she's looking for you, again." Napaangat ang tingin ko when I heard that. I nodded before saying thank you.

It's been two days but I still couldn't face her. She's alive, they are alive. When I heard Ate Tim shout inside the OR I cried hard. I've been here in the chapel of the hospital most of the time.

I saw her friends walk out of the door as well as her cousins and siblings. I didn't greet or nod to them, I held my face straight when I saw how Ate Sam and her brother want to approach me. I sighed and went inside her room.

"Shhh, I miss you." She's caressing my hair as I cry on her side while hugging her.

"Amyeille, I'm really sorry." I just nod simultaneously saying it's fine. Tanggap ko naman na. I just love her so much.

"Do you want something? D-does the...the baby...need something?" I said softly, she cried and looked to the other side.

"H-hey, sabi ni Tita...don't stress yourself...because it may affect the baby." Mahinang saad ko and caressed her hand on her stomach. She cried hard.

"I...I'm...really sorry, Amyeille." I chuckled before kissing her head.

"We'll be ha...having a new...baby." Nakangiting saad ko and lean on her stomach. Kaya pala she's eating those weird combinations of I don't know because there is a little bean in her. I'm excited! Gia's gonna be an Ate na.

"Love, what do you want to eat?" She smiled kaya natawa ako. Okay, fluffy seeds it is.

"Baba, did you know I'll have a sister na." Bibong saad nito habang nakahiga katabi si Amaiah. I chuckled before giving her milk.

"Really?" Nakangiting tanong ko.

"Yes, did Mommy tell you already?"Tumango ako before adjusting her position.

"Sleep baby, Mommy's already sleeping oh." She smiled and sucked her bottle habang nakayakap sa Nanay niya.

It's already 8 in the evening. And we are on our 4th day here in the hospital. HIndi ko pa nakakausap ang pamilya at mga kaibigan niya, they're visiting naman but I just went out of the room and went back if they are already away.

Her doctor said she can be discharged after 3 more days. Mabuti nalang the airbags are quite compact to protect them both. She hugged Gia that's why she has more wounds but was still gorgeous as always. She and bubwit had a schedule for therapy with the hospital's head psychologist.

"Baba, wakey wakey." Napangiti ako, ang bibo talaga. Alas sais pa lang naman ah.

"Good morning! I love you, muah." Natatawa ko itong binuhat bago lumapit sa tigre.

"Good morning, baby love." Bulong ko and kissed her head.

"Good morning, my love." I kissed her forehead and said to me the same. Gia's already outside nasa nurse station na naman siguro iyon.

"Good morning too, little bean." Bulong ko and rest my head on her side while caressing her tummy.

"I love you." Napangiti ako before giving her a quick kiss.

"What do my babies want for breakfast?"

Pabalik na ako sa room nila when I saw men in black outside. Napataas ang kilay ko. Hindi naman ganito ang mga tauhan ni Papa ah. Sino na naman kaya ang nasa loob.
