I walked up the stairs by myself slowly. That was draining. Sitting down with my dad and Stiles talking about my adoption. My dad didnt know who my real dad was, and I was beyond fine with it. The less I know the better, Derek was right, If I found out more I would ask questions. Questions that could put people in danger. I opened my door and Derek was putting papers on my desk. He looked up the minute I walked in. "So I put all the papers you attachted to you mirror here." He pointed to the stack he built, "Your school books are over there. I didnt know what to do with them." He pointed to books lying on my couch. "And I hung your pictures up where they were before. The glass is in the bin, Bad news you dont have a mirror anymore." He said with a small laugh. "And I put your clothes in the wastebasket. I hope you dont mind." My eyes widened. I didnt think this was the same person. He nodded and looked nervous. His hands retreated to his pocket and he turned towards the door.
"Wait." I said stopping him. "Dont go." I whispered, but he heard. He stared at me for a minute then sighed.
"What do you want?" He said softly, it wasnt rude or harsh. "What do you want from me Haylie? Tell me." His hands came out and he stayed looking at me. "Tell me what you want me to do. I'll do it." I shook my head in embaressment.
"I dont know." I sniffed and a tear started to make its way down my face. He sighed again and came towards me. He used his thumb to wipe it away and then rested his hand on my face. I looked away from him and too the floor.
"You never ask for much. And when you do you dont know what to ask for." He scoffed with the amusement all over his face when I looked back up. Itdropped slowly and we stared at each other for a minute.
"Why did you do this?" I asked and he cocked his head to the side, confused. "Why did you drive me home and give me your jacket?" I asked as another tear escaped this time on the other side. "I feel like thats where all of this started. I went for a run and I feel like I never came home. Instead I got in your car." I couldnt read the expression on his face.
"Are you saying I ruined your life?" He said getting straight to the point. I nodded.
"Yeah." I sighed. "But I dont seem to care anymore. Because I cant remember." I paused for a second remembering the time I yelled at Derek outside the dance studio, telling him I didnt trust him since he became Alpha. "Remember what it feels like not to love you." This time I saw the suprise on his face, but he shook itoff and lifted his other hand to wipe away the second set of tears.
"I know that feeling." He smiled a little.
"What are we gonna do?" I asked looking into his perfect eyes.
"Whatever you want." I smiled at him, and did what I wanted. I kissed him and he kissed back instantly.
It felt so good at first, but then it turned into something else. It turned painful, I didnt know why untill I felt Derek push me up against the wall a little too hard. His hands went to my waist and he started to push me harder against the wall and pushing himself on top of me. I felt crushed agianst his body and the wall. Finally the pressure hehad on my lips reduced and he was putting it on my jaw line, the my nech and then my collor bone. "Derek, stop." I said but he didnt. He pushed harder."Ow Derek that hurts." I said and tried to push him off me. Because of his strength it was next to impossible. but finally I wasnt the one who got him to stop. I thought someone pulled him off but I didnt see anyone. Instead I saw Derek hit the floor and close his eyes. He moved back and hit the bed. He looked like he was in pain.
"I'm sorry." He said in a breath. He didnt open his eyes he glued them shut, and glued himself to the bottom of my bed.
"Derek, whats wrong?" I moved towards him but he lifted a hand.
