We arrived at the show about 30 minutes later after picking up Scott. “Are you okay?” I heard him ask Stiles as they got the barrier powder out of the trunk.
“Yeah why?” Stiles asked giving me a look as I walked up to them.
“You just didn’t say anything on the way here.” Stiles shook his head as he took the black bin bags out of the car.
“I’m fine. Can you grab the other bag?” Scott didn’t move.
“I can’t remember. Deaton said you have to do it alone.”
“Okay, this plan is seriously starting to suck.” Stiles said sarcastically and Scott’s head shot up. “What?”
“No, no not here. Not now.” Scott started to walk away then that turned into a run.
“Scott! Scott!” Stiles yelled but he didn’t get a reply. “This plan officially sucks.” He sighed. I looked at him and gave him a sorry smile. “Don’t you dare.” He said with his hands on his hips, knowing what I was going to do.
“10 minutes and I’ll be back, I promise.” I said before running in the direction Scott went in. I knew I made the right choice in wearing flats. I hid behind a wall when I heard familiar voices. Then I thought for a second and remembered there in on the plan. “Isaac! Erica!” They both turned around.
“What are you doing here?” Erica asked disgustedly. I walked up to them.
“Looking for Scott right now. Have you seen him?” Erica shook her head and looked to Isaac.
“No, but when you do find him, tell him we’re looking for him as well.” I nodded and we all made our way into the warehouse. I don’t know what song was playing but it was great. It looked exactly what you would imagine a rave to look like. Teenagers dancing and brightly coloured.
“Hey do you guys…” I stopped when I realised they had gone in different directions. I saw Scott. “Scott!” I yelled and if he didn’t have super wolf hearing I doubt he would have heard me. I made my way through the dancing teens and to him. He grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the dancers so there was less noise.
“Find Isaac and give this to him,” Scott said and handed me the syringe and tin that Deaton had given him.
“What? Deaton said you have to do it!” I yelled over the music.
“I can’t! The Argents are here, I need to find a way to keep them away from Jackson long enough to continue with the plan, So just get this to Isaac and tell him to put it in there!” He pointed to a spot on my neck. I nodded.
“Why are the Argents here?” He looked at me and sighed. “They know.” I stated more than asked and he nodded.
“Allison told them. Do me a favour; keep an eye on her and Matt!”
“They’re here?” He nodded. “Yeah of course, go, do what you have to do.” He nodded and ran off pulling his phone out. I looked around for five minutes and finally found Isaac standing by himself, so I made my way through the crowd again and met him where he stood. “You have to do it.” I said holding up the syringe and tin. He bent down a bit so he was almost at my level, I never realised how tall he was.
“Why me?”
“The Argents are here, and Scott has to make sure they don’t completely ruin the plan.” He sighed. He nodded. “You have to inject it into the blood, which means into a vein.” I said holding up the syringe. “When you find it pull back on this plunger right here. The neck is the best place to do it.” He nodded and took the objects from me. “Be careful.” He let out a low chuckle.
