Haylie pov
"If we're doing a study group. Why don't we just stay in the library?" Lydia asked as we walked down the hall with her and Allison. Surprisingly Jackson came up to us and came as well after I explained things to him.
"Because we're meeting up with somebody else." Stiles said pulling her away from the library.
"Why don't they just meet us at the library?" She asked him.
"That would have been a great idea! Too late." Stiles said pushing her even more.
"Okay, hold on..." Jackson shoved past me and grabbed Lydia by her arm.
"Lydia. Shut up and walk." He said with annoyance. I looked to the other two and we all sighed but followed Jackson out of the school and towards my car. Allison got in the front with me and the other three got in the back.
I drove to Scott's house as fast as I could and we got there in about 10 minutes. We all got out quickly pushing Lydia in front the sooner she was inside the better. "If we're studying at Scott's house. Where's Scott?" She asked
"Meeting us here. I think. I know" stiles said and I turned to Jackson.
"Thanks for doing this." I whispered and thankfully the others didn't hear.
"I need to talk to her anyway." I didn't bother to ask why. It was probably something silly. Stiles opened the door with his key and once we were all inside he locked it and put the chain over it. Making sure knowing could get in. He turned around to us after looking out the window for anyone. Lydia looked at him confused and we all tried to play it cool.
"Ahh there have been a few break ins in the neighbourhood." Stiles lied but she seemed convinced. Until he grabbed a chair and placed it under the doorknob. I looked to Allison and we both gave the same guilty look. "And a murder." He said lying again. Jackson let out a huff.
"Lydia follow me." He said motioning to the staircase. "I need to talk to you for a minute." Jackson started walking and Lydia followed up to Scott's room. I looked out the window and saw it was getting dark. But then my eyes averted to the four people who were standing across the street. Derek, Isaac, Boyd and Erica. How the hell did they know we were here?
"We have a problem." I said and the other two looked out and saw the same thing I did.
"Call Scott." Allison said and stiles pulled his phone out. I didn't hear the conversation i was too focused on those four outside who were walking towards the house but stopped at the front yard.
We watched them for another 20 minutes and they didn't move. I looked to Allison. She had her phone in her hands and she looked nervous. "I think I have to call my dad." She said looking at the phone.
"But if he finds you here you and Scott.."
"I know." I saw the sadness in her face. "What are we supposed to do?" She asked both of us. "There not here to scare us. Okay, there here to kill Lydia." I looked around the house and remembered Lydia and Jackson were still upstairs. Allison sighed and dropped her phone to her side. I stepped away from the window and saw the crossbow in her other hand. "I've got an idea." They both turned to me. "Shoot one if them."
"Are you serious?" She whispered. We weren't sure if they were listening to our conversation.
"We told Scott we could protect ourselves right. At least give it a shot." She looked back to the window but stiles was still looking at me strangely. She nodded. "Look. They think we're not gonna fight right?" I started. "One of them gets hit I guarantee they'll take off. Just shoot one of them in the leg or something."
