"Good evening New York it seems we have-."

The t.v was turned down as Camille laid under the soft covers of her warm bed. She had decided to sleep the day away.

After the fight she had with James she felt awful. Not just for the at she responded, but how she disregarded him trying his best to be there for her.

It was like she wasn't herself, and in some ways she wasn't. She was a recovering survivor of abuse, had severe childhood trauma and seperational soulmate anxiety.

She was a mess, and now that she had to talk about and face her own trauma it was like she was rebuilding what she had left.

As she hid in her blankets her apartment door began to unlock. She felt herself attempt to bury herself deeper.

Hoping it wasn't James for once. "Camille?" Steve voice made her tense. He never really was good with talking to her.

Especially since she thought he didn't like her much. Just as she covered her face with the blanket, the bed sunk in next to her.

"I know your not feeling the best right now, and I want to help you but I can't if you block me out." Camille turned her head to look back at him.

Her eyes were red with irritation and he could tell she had been crying. "I didn't mean to lash out on him earlier."

She says in a muffled voice as she held the blankets to her face, trying to cover up the mess she had become in short of a month.

Steve seemed hesitant at first trying to figure out what to say, only to realize for once he couldn't be a captain to her couldn't be brash and evasive.

This was his soulmate. This was his soulmate. "I know Camille, and im sure he knows that too. We've all been having a rough time with therapy."

Steve says putting a reasuring hand on her back. Camille had shifted back to looking away from him.

Clearly not wanting him to see her in this state. It was uncomfortable for a once very put together woman to fall down in shambles so quickly.

"She, she asked about it." Steve breathed in a deep breath. Trying his best to feel her through his bond, try to understand her hurt before he spoke.

"Asked about what?" It wasn't strong or loud like Steve usually was, it was carful and thought out. Something Camille was surprised by.

"The night back when everything happened...he found I was pregnant. Thought I was cheating on him with Tony. It died before they got to me."

Her words made the man take a minute to gather himself, he had read it and heard it out of Tony's mouth but when she said it.

It brought a whole other type of feeling. It was draining, and it was her. She was still living in the past and he could tell this is why she really quit.

She couldn't handle it anymore. She couldn't handle them anymore.
