Ross's POV
I walked back over to my family after talking to Lexi. She's so pretty. I think she's into me.
"What were you doing?" Riker asked right when I got back.
"I was talking to a girl."
"Niceee. Is she coming to the fire tonight?" Rocky asked.
I nodded my head. "She went home to check with her mom. But, I did get her number."
"Smooth." Ellington added.
"Well, let's go get ready then."
We left the beach and had to run to the store to pick up stuff to make smores and hang lights around the patio. Once we got back, we started decorating. A few minutes later, I got a text:Unknown Number
Hey, it's Lexi. I can't make it to the fire. Sorry.I was really dissapointed. I was hoping I would get to know her more. I decided to reply:
It's alright. Maybe we can hang out tomorrow?
After a while she answered. Although bland, her text made me smile. I responded seconds later. 10 minutes passed, and I got no reply. 20 minutes have gone by, and she still hasn't answered me. I wonder what she's doing.
Lexi's POV
When I got back to my house, I tried convincing my mom, but she wouldn't budge.
"Lexi, we've been here almost a whole day and you have unpacked nothing! I am not going to let you go to some boy's house that you just met. Final answer. Go to your room and unpack. When you finish, then I'll think about it."
"Okay.", was all I could think to respond with. I really wanted to go tonight. I figured I should text Ross and tell him that I couldn't come. After a few minutes, he replied, asking if I wanted to hang out tomorrow. I really was confused as to why he wanted to see me so much. But, I replied saying:
Maybe.
I really didn't know what else to say to him...
I unpacked a few things, and then a little while later, went downstairs to get something to eat. Cassy was sitting on the couch, watching TV. I went in our fridge, and there was nothing in it, so I started walking back up the stairs. As I was, I heard his voice...Ross's voice. I didn't know where it was coming from, because he was at his house, having the fire. I slowly walked back down the steps, and then I saw it. Ross was on the TV. Ross is in a TV show... Austin & Ally, I believe. That's where I knew him from! We live in the same neighborhood as Ross Lynch? THE Ross Lynch who asked me to hang out with him? I was standing there, in shock. I think Cassy asked me if there was something wrong, but I was in my own thoughts, with everything else tuned out. Just at that moment, my phone buzzed.
Ross: Maybe I can come over and help you unpack tomorrow?
A famous, rich, good looking celebrity wants to spend his day with me? Now that I knew who he actually was, I didn't know what to say to him. I locked my phone, put it back in my pocket, and went upstairs to keep unpacking. After an hour, I gave up and decided it was time to go to sleep. I haven't heard from Ross since. But he is all I have been thinking about.
