Chapter 28- Getting Ready

Lexi's POV
Ross left when the movie was over. It has been a really good day!

After he left, I went upstairs to get ready for bed. As I was about to shut my room light off, my phone lit up, signaling I had a text message. It was Ross.

I'm taking you out tomorrow night. Be ready by 6. Dress casual. :) Goodnight, my love.

I smiled at the text. He is so sweet. How did I ever get so lucky??

I slowly drifted to sleep, with a smile on my face. The only thing running through my mind was how perfect tomorrow will be.

~~~ The Next Morning ~~~

I woke up when there was a knock at the door. I groggily walk down the stairs to see who would be here so early. I looked through the peephole, and saw Ross's sister, Rydel with a bunch of bags in her hands. Why is she here?, I thought. I opened the door and she came in, very awake and excited for this early in the morning.

"Good morning, Lexi!" She exclaimed happily.

"Hey Rydel. Not to be rude, but why are you here so early in the morning?" I questioned, rubbing my eyes. Rydel just stared at me with a blank expression.

"It's almost noon." She finally said. Whoops. I didn't think it was that late.

"Oh. Really?" I said, looking at my clock, informing me that it was indeed almost noon.

"Yes, really! Which means we don't have that much time until Ross picks you up for your date! So we must get busy right away!" She dragged me upstairs to my room.

For over an hour, she went through my clothing and everything she brought to find the perfect outfit. Finally, we found a pink, casual dress that would be perfect!

"This is it." Rydel exclaimed, smiling at the dress. "Go put it on." She continued. I went into the bathroom and changed into Rydel's dress. It looked beautiful. When I walked out to my room, Rydel's mouth dropped and she clapped her hands. "It's perfect!"

A lot has happened since I last updated! Sometime Last Night and Rydel's #RYL came out! I also saw R5 in concert on the beach! It was amazing! And I caught Ross's guitar pick!! Anyway, comment with your favorite song from Sometime Last Night!
