Chapter 26- Mini Golf

Lexi's POV
The car was filled with giggles. After we left the set, Riker turned on R5's EP, Heart Made Up On You, and we all started singing along, having a good time. We were driving down the highway at sunset and my best friends and boyfriend were next to me. I was the luckiest girl in the world.

Riker pulled into a parking spot at a mini golf course.

"I love mini golf!" I said to Ross.

He looked down at me, smiling. I love his smile.

One hour later, we had finished every course. It was really fun! Of course, Ellington was always cheating, picking up the ball and putting it where he wanted it to land. But, he still somehow came in last place..

"I won!" I exclaimed. Ross gave me a dirty look. "Sore loser, much?" I asked him.

He smiled. "Yeah, yeah. Let's get out of here."

As we were walking to the exit, Rocky stopped in his path, almost tripping Rydel.

"Sorry," He said. "Do you guys want to go out for ice cream? On me." Rocky looked around at everyone. After everyone agreed, we headed to the car and all hopped in.

"Hey, is it okay if I invite Shelby to come with us for ice cream?" Riker asked everyone. I didn't know a Shelby. But I was about to find out.

"Who's Shelby?" I asked no one in particular.

"Riker's girlfriend!" Rydel exclaimed. Riker shook his head. "Okay, well, they're not dating yet, but Riker is in loveee." Rydel giggled.

Riker looked down, blushing. "Mhmm.. Is it okay if she comes?"

"I want to meet Shelby!" I said.

"Okay cool. I'll call her before I start driving." Riker got out of the car and started talking on the phone. A few minutes later, he came back and we were on our way to the ice cream parlor.

As we were walking in, Ross held my hand. I smiled, feeling butterflies in my stomach. Ross and I ordered first.

"Two chocolate chip cookie dough cones, please." Ross said to the man. He knew what I wanted! It was adorable the small things he remembered about me. After we got our ice cream, Ross led me into a booth.

"We're going to sit over here, guys." Ross said to his siblings, as Shelby walked in. Riker went over to her and hugged her.

Ross and I took a seat in the booth, and I whispered to him, "I'm assuming that's Shelby?"

"Yeah." He replied. "She's nice and all. But I got everything I need right in front of me." I smiled.

After Ross and I had finished our ice cream and had talked alone for a while, we rejoined his siblings as we were about to leave.

"Do you want to come over to my house and watch a movie with Cassy and I? My mom's out on some trip with work, so she won't be back until Tuesday." I asked Ross, hoping he'll say yes.

"I would love to." Ross said, smiling. He lightly kissed my cheek as Riker started driving to my house to drop us off.
