I watched as the Hunters messed around with some bottles and needles.
They were big men, with camouflage coats and pants, they had work boots, and most of them had facial hair. Some were pretty bulky, one time of the less bulky one stood over me. He seemed to be the leader so far.
He wasn't one of the ones that came to get me from the cage.
When the hunters came into the room there were two of them. One was big and bulky, what you would image a bodyguard and the other was slightly skinnier. The skinnier one had a mustache and beard, and the big one had a clean shave. They had come in the other room, with Phil in the big one's arms, in his animal form. He held him from the scruff of his neck. The skinner hunter opened the cage door, and had a tranquilizer gun pointed at me to keep me from running at the open door. The one holding Phil, threw him; not hard but not exactly lightly, into the cage. His body slammed into the back of the cage.
He then grabbed me and pulled me out by the scruff of my neck. As they walked into the next room, before I had the time to transform and maybe escape this terrible place. The skinny one held a little device up to my forehead, like a forehead thermometer.
It beeped before he brought it down.
"What's that?" I asked. I didn't get an answer as they continued into the next room. Once in the next room I saw four more. At different tables, two were at a rack with different types of weapons and doing something with them.
"Where's Lady Scarlet?" The big one said in a gruff voice. One of the other hunters walked up.
"She's hunting with our prodigy," He moved his eyes from the big one to me. The hunter peered at me with interest. I tilted my head in confusion. He laughed, he had a deep laugh.
This hunter didn't have any facial hair, and his hair was a little longer than the others and it swooped back. He was the only hunter that wasn't wearing the same clothes as the hunters, he had khaki pants, and a white shirt with no camo jacket. He signaled the men to a table.
The big hunter walked over to the table and dropped me on it. He walked away to another table where he started to work on something with needles. The skinny one kept the tranquilizer pointed at me.
"What we going to do with him, Cal?" The one behind the tranquilizer asked, with no sense of correct grammar.
The leader, Cal stood over me, "We're going to use him to lead us to his little friend," He smirked, evilly I might add.
What does he mean by that?
"Are we really going to let that old man go, for the information?" The big one questioned.
"No Alonzo, we are never letting him go, we were just playing him for info." The skinny one replied.
"Who asked you, Medish?" Alonzo shot back.
"Who's stupid enough to not know the answer," Medish sniped.
"That's enough," Cal interrupted before the comments got worse, "Stop fighting."
"Yes Cal," they said in unison. Cal motioned for Alonzo to bring over whatever needle thing he was working on. As Alonzo started to walk over, The door creaked open.
"We're home," a voice calls. She walks in the room, I'm guessing that's Lady scarlet. Lady Scarlet wore a red lined Coat, and a reddish dress with black leggings and red boots. She also had a red floppy sun hat. Lady Scarlet had ice cold eyes, and there was something about her voice that automatically scared me.
There was a kid with her. I couldn't see him very well, but out of the corner of my eye, we made eye contact. He had piercing brown eyes, "go up to your room and write your report." Lady Scarlet sounded almost mothery. When she turned back to the other hunters her ice coldness was back.
