Raven screamed in pain as the hot metal was pressed onto her wound. Finn held her hand tightly even after I pulled the knife away.

"That should stop the external bleeding," Clarke said.

I put the knife down and said, "I don't understand. How did Murphy get a gun?" Bellamy had told us what happened while we were gone, that Murphy tried to get his revenge on us. I asked him to spare some of the more violent details.

"Long story," Bellamy sighed.

"We got lucky," Raven said. "If Murphy hit the fuel tank instead of me, we'd all be dead."

Clarke looked astonished when she realized there was fuel below the dropship. "Wait, there's rocket fuel down there?" she asked. "Enough to build a bomb?"

"Enough to build 100 bombs... if we had any gunpowder left," Raven answered.

"Let's get back to the Reapers," Bellamy interrupted. He looked down at the image in Lincoln's book. "Maybe they'll help us. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?"

"Not this enemy," I said and took Lincoln's book. "Just ask Finn and Clarke. They will rip us to shreds. They aren't right in the head," I explained. "They don't think straight. They consider everyone the enemy."

"There's no time for this," Finn interrupted. "Can she walk or not?"

Clarke shook her head. "No. We have to carry her."

"The hell you will. I'm good to go." Raven tried to sit up.

"Hey, listen to me. That bullet is still inside you. If by some miracle, there's no internal bleeding, it might hold until we get somewhere safe," Clarke said. "But you are not walking there. Is that clear?"

Raven gave a sad nod. "I'll get the stretcher," Finn said. He took a few steps to the door before Bellamy spoke up.

"Can't run away fast enough, huh? Real brave," Bellamy sneered. Finn turned around and walked right up to Bellamy.

"Dying in a fight you can't win isn't brave, Bellamy, it's stupid," Finn said.

"Spoken like every coward who's ever run from a fight." Bellamy took a step toward Finn, and I placed my sword between the two to prevent Bellamy from getting closer.

"He's right," I told Bellamy. "You may have the guns, but you don't have the numbers, you don't have the ammo. Trikru will wipe you out."

Bellamy scoffed. "What happened to you siding with us in war?"

"If there's a war," I corrected. "But if we have an option that doesn't involve more death, I'm taking it," I said.

"All right, that's enough," Clarke interjected. "It's time to go."

"If they follow? It's a 120-mile walk to the ocean," Bellamy tried to reason.

"Look, we're wasting time," Finn told him. "If he wants to stay, he can stay." Finn walked out.

"No, he can't," Clarke said. I put my sword away when Clarke approached Bellamy. "We can't do this without you, Bellamy."

"What do you want me to say, Clarke?"

"She wants you to say that you're with us," I answered. I picked up a makeshift knife from the table and handed it to Bellamy. "You may be a fighter, but you are not a warrior. This isn't your fight."

Clarke smiled when she saw me trying to get Bellamy on our side. "Those kids out there, they listen to you."

"They're lining up to go. They listen to you more," Bellamy argued.
