"I'm not asking you again." I stared at him blankly as Bellamy awaited my answer. "Just give me a name. We can start with that." I ignored him as he desperately tried to get me to speak. "You're lucky I let you live."

"I don't think she understands you, Bellamy," remarked Wells as he rushed to Bellamy's side. Horror-struck, he saw that my hands and feet had been bound even tighter than before, with no buckle this time.

"If she didn't understand me, she wouldn't be glaring at me like that." Bellamy stood up, not removing his gaze. A scream came from the fire, and the three of us looked in that direction. One of the boys, who I've learned is named Murphy, was holding a girl over the fire. The girl looked like she was in pain, but she was also not fighting it, like she was letting that happen to her.

"Bellamy! Check it out. We want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right?" Murphy called. "Figure it'll look better if we suffer a little bit first."

Wells watched in horror at the chaos that had ensued around their camp before running and pushing the girl out of Murphy's grip. "Let her go!" Bellamy slowly stalked to Wells. "You can stop this."

"Stop this?" Bellamy questioned. "I'm just getting started."

Bellamy looked at Murphy with a smirk on his face, and Murphy took that as his cue to swing his fist at Wells. Wells lost his balance, but when he pulled himself back up, Murphy landed him in the gut. Bellamy made no point in trying to stop it, and the crowd began chanting for a fight.

Unlike the first time, the fight actually happened, and despite Wells's injury, he fought back and knocked Murphy to the ground, but that only agitated him more, and he tackled Wells and sent punch after punch to his face. Bellamy watched in amusement as Wells somehow reversed it and got the upper hand in the fight. Wells sent one punch to Murphy's face in defense before standing up and storming to Bellamy. "Don't you see you can't control this?"

On the ground behind Wells, Murphy slowly reached for his knife and pulled himself to his feet. "Wells!" I called without thinking. He turned around as Murphy flipped the knife so the blade was up.

"You're dead." Murphy approached Wells with the intent to slice his throat open and leave him there to bleed out.

"Wait." Bellamy stepped in between the two, and just when I thought he was going to end the fight, he pulled out another knife and tossed it on the ground in front of Wells. "Fair fight." Bellamy stepped out of the way, and Wells stared at the knife, unsure if he should pick it up or not, but seeing that Murphy is desperate to have this fight, he bent down to grab it.

Murphy and Wells began taking small steps, circling around an invisible point, and Murphy jabbed the knife a few times but missed. But the final time, Wells tried to stab him back, and that allowed Murphy to get him in the arm. Wells groaned in pain and held onto the wound. "This is for my father!" Murphy yelled.

Murphy swung the knife at Wells, and Wells blocked it with his arm. He grabbed Murphy by the back of his shirt and turned him around, pulling him back against him and holding the knife to his neck. "Drop it!" Wells demanded. Murphy gripped his knife, and Wells put more pressure on his neck.

"Wells!" a female voice called. Wells looked at the blonde girl as she returned with the group that had set out to find Mount Weather the day before. Murphy had a smirk on his face seeing that as much as Wells wanted to slice his throat, he couldn't. "Let him go!"

Wells looked down at Murphy before pushing him down to the ground and dropping the knife Bellamy gave him. Murphy immediately tried to lunge at Wells, but Bellamy held him back. "Hey! Enough, Murphy." Bellamy looked at the group, but his concern lied with the brunette girl leaning her weight against another boy. "Octavia. Are you alright?" It was almost as if everything that just happened disappeared from his mind seeing the injured girl. He helped the girl, Octavia, sit down on a log, and that's when I noticed the resemblance between them. "Where's the food?"
