Giovanna' pov:

I heard the satisfying crack of my bones after I stretched my arms. Rotating the wrist of my right hand in a circular motion, I battled to unlock the kitchen door with my left as I ushered Armella inside.

I mentally sighed, thankful that we made it without being caught by anyone. Tiredly, I began trudging up the stairs, eager to just flop onto my bed and do nothing.

Turning left at the top of the staircase I made my way to my bedroom.

"Wait!" I heard Armella call our from behind me.

"Yeah?" I asked as I turned to face her.

That's a fucking dumb thing to say to someone who was almost raped Giovanna. I mentally scolded myself.

Truth be told, I had no idea how to go about this whole thing.

Ignore it? Na, that's just plain fucking stupid.

Confront her about how she feels?

I mentally laughed at that one. Look at you. I jeered at myself.

The one that's fucked up in the head trying to help someone else. That spells disaster with a capital D.

Comfort her? Plausible, but damn dangerous territory.

How do you even comfort someone?

The thought just took me all the way back to middle school when I had entered the bathroom and was met with a girl bawling her eyes out.

Ignoring her I moved towards the only available stall - as the others were getting fixed due to someone's prank which destroyed it - which she happened to be standing directly infront of.

Her arms reached out, as if trying to hug me and I stepped back, looking horrified at the prospect.

"What are you doing?" I asked her with my right eyebrow raised.

"Oh umm- I just thought that, umm-"

"You standing in my way." I told her blankly.

"Ohhh, sorry." She apologized and quickly scurried out of the bathroom.

Later that day I found out that her mother had died.

Whoops?

I shuddered just thinking about my past experiences, each of which I avoided the situation entirely. I just couldn't comfort anyone.

Yeah but she isn't just anyone. My brain pointed out.

"You okay?" I asked her awkwardly.

Well done Giovanna well done. You deserve an award for the fucktard of the year!

"I don't wanna be alone." She told me honestly.

Armella' pov:

"I don't wanna be alone." I admitted honestly.

"Netflix and chill?" Giovanna offered and I almost laughed at how awkward she looked.

"Netflix and chill it is." I told her, making my way to my room with her following closely behind.

I heard the sound of something thudding on the ground and I turned around to see our school bags on the floor, leaning against the leg of my table.

Just as I was about to open my mouth to ask a question, Giovanna disappeared into my closet, returning a few short moments later with some clothing in her hands.
