After turning the kitchen into a war zone, we somehow managed to finish baking the cookies and brownies before Nicole sent us off to clean ourselves up.

Stepping out of the shower, I wiped the condensation off from the mirror and glanced at myself, checking to see if I washed my hair thoroughly. I don't plan on sporting a 'floured' hairstyle over the weekend.

Pulling on a pair of pyjamas, I opened the window before exiting the bathroom and made my way to my desk, plopping down on the chair heavily. Groaning softly to myself, I opened the drawer and removed my hairdryer, plugging it in the socket situated below my table.

Taking one look at my hairbrush and hairdryer, I groaned again and dropped my head on the table. Drying your hair took so much of freaking effort and for some reason I was feeling drained and annoyed right now.

Lifting my head up slowly, which seemed to take all the energy I currently had within me, I reached out for my hairband wanting to tie my hair up and get straight into bed. Wet hair wasn't really my priority now.

"Sit," a voice commanded from behind me, the owner's hands pushing my shoulders down causing me to fall back into my chair.

"Leo?" I questioned tiredly, recognising the voice.

"Hmm," he hummed from behind me, confirming it was him. He reached forward grabbing the hairdryer from the table and switched it on, his one hand gently lowering my head onto my arms.

I rested my head on my arms and tuned the world out, the warm air from the hairdryer encouraging me to fall asleep even more. My eyes slowly drooped, the tiredness from the day taking over, causing me to fall asleep.

It could've been 15 minutes or half an hour when I felt myself being lifted and then placed on a soft surface, something warm being placed over me. I turned on my side to get more comfy when I realised that Leo had not only dried my hair, but carried me to bed and tucked me in.

Lazily lifting my head, I whispered a soft 'thanks' and snuggled deeper into the comfort provided by my bed.

"What are older brothers for, Tesoro?" (Treasure). I felt my blanket being tugged upwards until it was resting beneath my chin, and a soft kiss was placed on my forehead.

"Goodnight bambina" (Little sister), I heard his voice whisper, accompanied by the click of a lock as after he closed my door.

"Night fratello," (Older brother) I replied, my eyelids falling shut once again, unable to bare the weight of my tiredness.

The house was ridiculously quiet the next day, with almost everyone in the household gone out. Enrico left the house early as usual, god forbid the day he didn't. Death would be upon us.

Ales had some friend to help at his practise and Dante went off to run the multiple clubs owned by the one and only Accardi's and Leo mentioned something Maddy. The twins had disappeared now that Riccardo got his licence back and Gerardo...was in more hot water for that fight he started at school yesterday.

I got off rather lightly with dish washing duty over the course of the long weekend, compared to Gerardo who had his grounding lengthened and was on house arrest only to leave if it was approved by Giovanni, Nicole, Enrico or Ales.

Both Giovanni and Nicole also seemed to evaporate into thin air, leaving the youngest 4 home alone to lose our minds. Whilst Toni and Mia had the wonderful opportunity of going crazy over junk food and whatnot, Armella and I were graciously presented the chance to go insane over the amount of homework we were given.

And going insane we were.

The words on the page seemed to be floating around, and when I finally thought I could make sense of it, they blurred together. My brain was fried and the headache that had formed over 30 minutes ago didn't seem to be going anywhere.
