The two brothers looked at eachother,
gulping and nodding before opening their front door as quietly as possible.

Jayden looked around, sighing in relief as he didn't see his mom anywhere giving them time to walk to Dustin's room.

The two tip-toed across the living room before they turned to make a left.

"Oh dusty! Jayjay! How was it?"

The two boys turned their heads at the sound of their mom's voice and footsteps coming towards them.

Dustin gulped, "H-How was what?"

Claudia looked between the two in confusion, "the greatest night of the year, of course!"

Dustin quickly nodded, "Oh- oh yeah, it was.. It was uh, tubular."

Jayden nodded as he smiled awkwardly.

Claudia scrunched her eyebrows up in confusion, "what's wrong with you two?"

Jayden looked at Dustin who looked back at him, "Oh- oh nothing!"

Claudia tilted her head, "Did something happen?"

Dustin shook his head, nudging Jayden so he would do the same. "No, what? No."

"Are you constipated again?"

Dustin's eyes widened, "No, mom!"

"Okay, you guys are acting weird." Claudia said with a stern face, as Jayden and Dustin looked at eachother trying to think of what else to say.

"We're not acting weir-" Jayden got cut off as the three jumped back at the sound of Dustin's trap thrashing around.

"Ah!" Claudia jumped as Mews hissed.

Dustin and Jayden looked at eachother as they laugh to play it off. "Woah!"

Dustin looked at his mom, "awesome, right? I rigged the trap with, uh, um-"

Jayden smiled, "A motor! To make it seem like 'dusty' caught a ghost!"

Dustin nodded, "just like the movie!"

Claudia looked at her two kids as she began to laugh nervously along with Dustin, "Oh dusty!"

Jayden looked at the two who laughed like they were on crack, Jayden smiled as he forced a laugh.

"Funny, look at that." Dustin laughed as he pointed at his trap that made growling noises. "Look at that.."

The two boys quickly turned around to run into Dustin's room as they locked the door.

Dustin held the trap up, "I told you to keep quiet!" Dustin scolded the creature inside the box who growled.

"All you had to do was stay still for one minute!" Dustin whispered as he walked over to his turtle's tank. "One minute!"

Jayden watched he apologized to yurtle before taking him out and putting him on the floor.

"Sorry yurtle. Temporary eviction, buddy."

Jayden rolled his eyes as he walked up next to Dustin who dumped the mysterious creature into the tank.

The brothers leaned forward, to get a better view of the creature who hid under a tiny log and screeched slightly.

"What were you doing in our trash?" Dustin asked the creature who obviously ignored him.

Jayden made a disgusted face, "what is he?" Dustin shrugged as he observed the creature. "He's ugly."

Dustin gave him an offended look as he pulled out a three musketeers.

Jayden watched Dustin's every step,
"What are you doing?"
