I launch myself into the air and conceal everything in a big, grey, cloud. I could see perfectly, but I knew that they couldn't. I giggle a little and sneak up behind Chrystal Rivers, jabbing my fingers into her sides causing her to squeak.

"Agh! Tori!" She yells angrily at me. What is wrong with you?!"

I laugh and clear the cloud. Chrystal is a year older that me. So is Alexis and Sean. Minho Grey is the oldest at 17, she's an Aeroette as well. She is also my mentor. Alexis and Chrystal are Aqualettes (water) and Sean is a Pyrolite. (Pyrolite comes from the Greek word pyro meaning fire)

I'm younger than everyone else, making me the prime target for the pranks. I've had my room filled with fire, water, and vines more times than I can count. I'm working on my own prank though. It's a lot of work, I'm even going to need some help from my dad.

Your probably like, "umm... good for you... why does that matter?" Well my dad is one of the most powerful and evil people ever. He is also the king of Jandisar.

Back to reality, I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear as Sean and Alexis walk over. They are twins but hate each other more than my mother hates my dad. (My mom was ruler before my dad captured her, claimed he found her dead, took over her thrown and changed her face using his enslaved wizard... don't you just love my family?) Me and Alexis are really good friends and, if you tell anyone I will kill you, I have a major crush on Sean.

Sean puts his arm on my shoulder like it was an armrest. "You're short." He says smiling down at me.

"Oh please!" I laugh, shrugging his arm off me. "When we first met you were shorter than me!"

We all walk inside where everyone else was sitting around the large table in our dining room. There's Chrystal's boyfriend Andy, a Hydrolour (water) with jet black hair and ocean blue eyes, my cousin Jen, a wizard, cooking lunch, Mia, a Geotetra (earth powers) her green highlights braided and wrapped around her golden curls, Annabell an Aqualette (water. I'm gonna stop saying the power look at the chart if you're confused) who's brown straight hair is dyed bright pink, she's the second oldest and has a lip piercing and a fire tattoo curling up her back. Don't ask why it's fire, I don't know. Logan is a Geotetra with emerald green eyes and wavy brown hair and Gabe is a short Pyrolite with brown hair.

I sit down between Chrystal and Sean, Andy sits on the other side of Chrystal and it's pretty obvious they're holding hands under the table.

We all talk for a couple minutes before Jen brings out home made mac and cheese. She made the cheese and and pasta and grew the herbs she put in it. It tastes amazing, like everything else she cooks.

After lunch in Tori's room
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My room is usually light pink, but changes when I'm feeling a very strong emotion.
Red: Anger
Blue: sorrow or depression
Green: unknown my walls had only been green once
My bed hovers two feet off the ground and my desk is covered in songs lyrics and book pages I wrote.
I sit up on my bed drawing and writing about my memories of my old life before I was rescued. As I get further away from it, I feel like it's slowly drifting away. I write about how my memories of my life as an infant were given to me by a descendant of Merlin and how Sean and Minho found me and brought me to the safety home and why I use my mother's last name, not my dads. Why I go by Storm.
Someone knocks on my door and I close my notebooks. "Come in." I call and watch the door to see who will open it. It's Sean.
My heart automatically speeds up as he walks into my room and sits down next to me on my bed. "Hey." I say, trying to cover the sadness I was feeling, but the deep blue walls gave me away. "What's up?"
"I had a question to ask you," he starts and my heart nearly stops, "but I think I have to ask what wrong first."
"It's nothing." I say looking away.
"If it was nothing your walls wouldn't be blue." He knows me too well. "Please tell me."
I sigh and hand him the purple notebook marked memories on my lap, but don't let go. "Promise you won't tell anyone?" I ask him, staring into his grey eyes that denied magic and had a hint of blue in them.
"Promise." He assures me. I let go of the notebook and he opens it to the first page. I could always tell what part he was on. He reads about the wizard, and my dad, and my mother, and somethings that I don't want to tell you quite yet. "Why didn't you tell anyone?" He asks me after he finishes the last page I wrote.
"I thought, if you knew you would think of me as a freak." I sigh. "Like you wouldn't treat me like a real person, you would treat me like a princess. And-"
I was interrupted, but not by words, by a kiss. I kiss him back and then pull away. He looks at me, but I can't meet his eyes.
"Hey." He says gently, and I look at him. He tucks a white streak behind my ear and leans in closer. "I like Tori Storm and Tori Evans." He whispers to me and kisses me again, but this time, I don't pull away. And my walls turn green.
