The current score is two to one, Alexis in the lead. Minho and I fly everyone up to the floating pens for the fourth event.

There are twelve large pens, six on each side next to a massive pool in the center.

Alexis walks over to her first creature. A Bahamut. Legend states that Bahamuts make up one of the seven layers of the earths crust. What I know is they're a pain in the ass to get to move. If you couldn't guess, that's their job.

Alexis goes under the water and starts coaxing the Bahamut. A few minutes later, it moves a few feet and I check her timer so far. Four and a half minutes.

She starts towards her next creature, an Ahuizotl. An Ahuizotl is a small aquatic canine that has a hand on its tail. It has a particular liking for human eyes nails and teeth. It drags its victims underwater and drowns them. Alexis and Chrystal's jobs were to tame it.

Alexis grabs a (disgusting) hand full of nail clippings from the bucket and throws one to the canine. He happily eats it and I shivers its disgust. She swims closer to the creature with some clippings in an outstretched hand. It eats them. Cautiously as Alexis gets down to the Ahuizotl's level.

"Sit." She says firmly.

The canine doesn't respond.

"Sit." She tries again. Several seconds later, the Ahuizotl sits down. She scratches his head and moves on to the next creature. Current time: six minutes and forty-three seconds.

Next creature: an angry Water Nymph. It was originally just a water nymph... but apparently Nymphs don't like being caught and put into confined areas. Wonder why. Really all Alexis had to do was get past it to move on to her next creature, but that's easier said than done.

Alexis takes a step forward and a wave instantly pushes her back. I see her wince at the impact. Ow! Ow! Fuck ow! Hearing the thoughts of Alexis makes me feel the pain myself. She quickly gets back up and tries a different approach. She make a few waves in the water, causing the nymph to blast another stream of water at her. She deflects lit back at the water nymph and while its in shock, she sneaks past it onto her next creature. A Ceasg (pronounced kee-ask). Current time: eight minutes and sixteen seconds.

A Ceasg is a half human half salmon mermaid with a particular curiosity for humans. While some legends say she keeps humans alive and healthy when she lures them under the sea, others say she kills them in seconds. If the Ceasg is caught it will grant three wishes in return for its freedom.

"Let me free." the Ceasg whispers in a cheerful, ghost girl like voice. "Or you could come live with me underwater. You know you've always wanted to see Atlantis. You could bring world peace. You could be a hero."

Alexis bites her lip, closes her eyes and looks away. "I appreciate your offer," she starts. "But I have to win this contest and save the world with my friend."

"And your twin brother?" The Ceasg says, making Alexis stop in her tracks. "The one who was always your parents favorite? The one who's shadow always covers you? The one who stole your best friend?" I see Alexis' face, a look of consideration. A look of want.

"No." She says calmly. She walks away and the Ceasg stares into the water below her with a look of defeat and disbelief.

Current time: ten minutes and twenty four seconds.
Next creature: an Ogopogo.
