Chapter Three Rae

(Rae's POV)

I grab a vine on my side and pull myself out of the sand. I was taking a long journey with someone named Minho. Somehow she found out that I'm an Aqualette. "Couldn't we just fly?" I ask her extremely irritated. "You're and Aeroette! You can fly!"

"Oh." She says. "Right." She makes a swirling motion with her hands and I'm lifted off the ground. She effortlessly lifts herself and shoots us across the air above the forest.

Within minutes we are "here." "Here" is just a big house with a path of candles in a field leading to nothing. "What's with the candles?" I ask.

"Remains of a big romantic gesture." She explains, looking at the glowing Quartz watch on her wrist. "Oh crap we missed breakfast! I'll have Jen make you something once you're settled in."

"Who's Jen?" I ask.

"Oh! Right! Sorry I'm really bad at bringing people to the house. I did the same thing with Tori. Oh my god, I did it again! Jen's our wizard and cook. And I have trouble admitting this, but Tori's our strongest Aeroette, possibly even our strongest Merlain, for her age at least, she's the youngest."

We walk into the seemingly deserted house. "That way is the earth wing." Minho says pointing at a door way. "That one's air, that one's fire, and that one's water." She point son different directions and I almost instantly forget it. The whole house is one huge maze. "EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" I hear a scream from the water wing and look at Minho, alarmed.

"Don't worry." She says. "That's just Chrystal Rivers. She's probably with Tori talking about that big romantic gesture. But anyway you can go bring your stuff to room 4 in the water wing."

I grab my stuff and head to the room. I open a door and walk in on a girl with blonde hair and blue highlights (an Aqualette) and a grill (accidentally typed that instead of girl. I'm not changing it) with brown hair and white highlights (An Aeroette).

"Sorry wrong room!" I say, backing away. "But I'm Rae. And where's room 4."

"Just across the hall." The Aeroette said.

I open the door to a room with color changing walls a queen sized water bed on the far wall. To my left there is a desk and a dresser. On my right the whole wall is an aquarium. I look around in awe just as another Aqualette walks in.

"I'm Alexis!" She say cheerfully. She talks fast so I miss most of what she says. She suddenly walks to the end of the hall and hits the large gong with a stick. "PRACTICE FIELD!!" She yells and people start coming out of their rooms.

We are all gathered outside and Minho walks to the front. "Hello my fellow freaks!" She jokes... I hope. "I have called you here today bec-"

"I CALLED YOU ALL HERE TODAY!" Alexis interrupts.

"Well Shuttap!" Minho yells in a strange accent. "Anyway! We have a newcomer. This is Rae. She's an Aqualette."

"MAY WE ALL FEAST ON THE NEW BLOOD!!!!" Someone from the audience screams and everyone laughs. I trace the voice back to the Aeroette. I like her. She comes up and tells me her name is Tori, and introduces me to her new boyfriend Sean, a Pyrolite. She wears a black leather jacket over a hot pink dress and black combat boots. Sean looks a lot like Alexis. I think to myself.

"Well they are twins." Tori says out loud.

"What?" I ask her extremely confused.

"Sean and Alexis are twins."

"Yes but how did you know what I was thinking?" I ask her.

"You said it out loud."

"No she didn't." The Aqualette who's room I walked into earlier says. "I'm Chrystal, by the way." She says. She's holding hands with a Hydrolour. "This is Andy." She says after seeing what I was looking at. A ton more people walk up to see what's going on. I meet a Geotetra named Mia, a Aqualette named Annabel, a Pyrolite named Gabe, and another Geotetra named Logan.

Tell anyone and I'll send my squid army to eat you, but Logan is super cute. He has ash brown hair with neon green highlights and emerald green eyes.

But anyway back on the topic of my thoughts being heard by an Aeroette I just met. Jen (the wizard... apparently) walks in with a piece of cake in her hand.

"What's sup?" She asks, shoving another bite in her mouth.

"Tori heard my thoughts." I say. Jen snaps her finger and the cake is gone and a small book replaced it.

"Oh god." She say reading the book. "An Aeroette?! There has to be some mistake."

"What's going on Jen?" Tori asks angrily. "And what's wrong with Aeroettes huh?" I could tell she was about to lose her temper but Sean pull her close to him and calms her down.

"This is my prophecy book." Jen explains. "It says here 'the time is near, to take shelter or fall. You'll know it's time, when one knows thoughts of all. This young girl, will need help from friends, to help her control, every element. Once she's schooled it will be time, to win a battle, or be the end of time.'" Jen looks at Tori. "Guess that's you Windy."
