Magic in the Air

Chapter Thirty-Four: Storms and Lava

I pull out a small bag and drop the heart in it, not being able to touch it for another second. I toss it to Chrystal, who stuffs it in her backpack.
"So where to now?" Mia asks, her face is pale and her eyes look terrified.
"I guess we go find Asher." I say, finally realizing the reality of this quest. This isn't a quest to get Jen and ingredient for a potion, or bring a new person back to the house. This is real. We could die. We are literally going to storm a castle.
"Use this." Ryan says and hands me a golden sea shell. "Say the name of any which, wizard or Merlain and they'll get your message."
I take the shell from him and whisper into it. "Asher Evans. We got what we were on a quest for at Balthazar's castle. We need to meet up, and go visit dad." I toss the shell back to Ryan
Asher's voice fills my head. "I'm not far from Balthazar's castle. I'll meet you there with my friends by sundown."
"She isn't far. She's going to meet us here." I say and sit down on a large piece of stone. "Then we'll make a plan.

I see the green light of Asher's wizard orb after about two hours of these idiot guys I decided to take with me on a quest bickering nonstop. "Asher!" I yell and stand up, running towards her. I notice the large group of people behind her, maybe fifty people.
I glace at them with a questioning look and she laughs. "These are all the Merlains I could find that want Nolan gone."
Another two hours later, we have a plan. Asher and her group will take care of the guards while my group and everyone from the house, who are all on their way, get Nolan. I'll create a storm to interfere with the Earth and Water power dampener. Mia and Logan will grow vines to climb up on top of the walls to guide us through the maze. Chrissy and Bella will go through through the water filled underground tunnel leading to the towers and clear the water, making it safe for the rest of us to go through. Gabe and Sean will go through the lava barrier, up to the top of the tower, flip a lever to turn the barrier off, then go across a bridge connecting two towers and flip another switch to reverse the process of sucking to power of a person in her cell and putting it into Nolan, so his powers will be drained and put into the cell. They will then go to where my father would be waiting for me. He will put them in his cell to drain their power, only to give his power to them. When his power's low, Jen, Ryan and I will immobilize him and I will kill him. Asher will take control of Jandisar and I try to forget the fact that I killed my own dad.
We leave at dawn.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!! Magic in the Air is coming to an end soon   :( BUT THERE'S NO NEED TO BE SAD!!!!!! There's going to be like... 14 more books in this series!!!!! The description of the next book will spoil the ending SOOOOOOOO much so... if you don't want spoilers on how this book ends... don't read the description of that book when I publish it until you finish this book.
