Countless hours I've spent, going over the memories I'm about to show you. They aren't in my notebook. As the rest of my memories faded, these stayed, shining brighter than the sun.
No one knows of these moments, not even Chrystal or Alexis, but now I'll write them for you to see.
"You've seen so much." The wizard's descendant said, in fear and awe.
"Could you see it all?" I asked, my voice shaking. He nodded and I looked down.
"Your past is enough to make anyone go crazy. And I sense more pain in your future. How do you manage to maintain your sanity?"
"I don't." I confessed. "I freak out sometimes. Just screaming. That's all there is."
He stood and started walking towards me. "You aren't going to be alone forever." He said. His blue eyes were staring into mine, like he knew what I felt. It was the first time I truly felt like someone understood me.
I squeezed my eyes shut and a tear rolled down my cheek. I felt like he could see right through me if he could see my eyes. Like he could see everything I was, I could be, I felt, all the darkness I had sheltered away.
The darkness of my past is something no one has seen. Except for the stranger I only met once. The only one that knows the real me, is someone I'll never see again.
"I've seen so many memories. But none quite as dark as yours." He said, in a tone I couldn't identify. "But I can tell that it gets better for you. Eventually."
"I thought you said only 'higher forces' could see the future." I teased.
I hadn't noticed, but we were slowly getting closer. At this point, his face was only a couple inches from mine.
"Will you stop questioning my power and just kiss me?"
I leaned in and his soft lips were on mine. My first kiss. When I was only seven years old.
Little did I know, that I would see him again. Eight years later.

CLIFF HANGER!!! Muah ha ha I'm evil. At least I updated! Sorry it's been forever! Anyhoo! I have an idea for the next chapter (caugh cough epic fight to the death cough cough) JUST KIDDING! or am I... THE WORL MAY NEVER KNOW...
