"So we're here and the chalice is there, if we continue at this rate we'll get there by noon." I say to my mini army.

I keep my eyes glued to the map and keep walking forward. I step in something squishy and wet. I look down and realize I'm sick in a giant pit of quicksand.

Sean was in the pit with me. I try to fly us out but can't. I try to teleport out using my wizard powers but the quicksand absorbs the power as soon as I summon it.

"MIAAAA!!!" I yell, now waist deep.  "Get us out of here!" She makes a swirling motion with her hands and the quicksand rises out of the ground.

"I'm gonna put the quicksand back and you won't go with it, Tori get ready to fly you and Sean out." She lets go of the sand and I float me and Sean to solid ground.

"Wait a second," Sean says looking at the map still in my hand. "This maps off. We aren't here, we're here." He says pointing to a darker point in ten trail titled Quicksand pit. "That means that the Chalice is there." He points at a cave in the mountain.

"One flaw with your plan Einstein." Alexis scoffs grabbing the map. "How the hell are we supposed to get up there?"

I grab the map from Alexis and throughly study every inch. It's almost invisible, only a trained eye would be able to see it. (Luckily for me my father trained me to see tiny details on the floor of a maze to know where you are). There's a very faint silver line going through a pond.

"See it has to be where we are, there's that lake and that way's where we came from." Sean says to Alexis.

"It's this way." I say suddenly walking towards the pond. Sean and Alexis stop arguing in surprise. "There's supposedly a cave attached to that one and the entrance is through this lake. Alexis can you go and confirm this?"

She nods and dives into the pond. A long minute of silence later she pops up. "Looks like about a thirty second swim," say says. "Easy."

We all dive into the pond. The cave ahead is big enough to fit three people swimming side by side. We go in two rows, one of three one of two. We come out in a circular room with a small pool of water that's connected to the pond outside.

On the far side of the wall there's i large stone pedestal. With the chalice. The Chalice of Life.

I see a mostly clear liquid with a hint of green. "That must be the poison I have to drink," I say nervously to my group.

The chalice is covered in rhinestones and diamonds and is intricately carved in swirls at the handle. I lift it up, by the wight of it, it's probably solid gold.

I tip my head back and drain the poison out of the cup.

The world slows down, everything gets blurry. I fall to the floor.

"Tori!" Someone's yelling for me.

The room fades, and the world turns black.
