"Ok!" Mia say loudly. "Climb this tree." It was a tree she just grew, so I had no idea how hard it would be to climb. "And no freaking flying!"
I roll my eyes and start towards the tree. It was relatively easy to get into, but that wasn't the hard part. I grab two thick branches and pull myself through them. As soon as I grab the next branch, the ones below me disappear.
I climb onto the branch my hand was on and don't look down. I pull my way through the branches, constantly aware of the disappearing and reappearing arms. I'm holding on to one branch and it suddenly disappears. I quickly grab the branch next to it and swing myself up on to the thin limb. I pull up through a few more branches and then it's over. A path of woven twigs appears and Mia and Logan run up it.
"Do you have any idea how long that took you?" Logan asks wearily.
"Um..." I think for a moment before answering. "Four minutes?"
"Close. Except not really." Mia gasps, still out of breath from her run. "One minute and forty-six point three seconds. That's faster than the person who created this type of trees daughter who previously had the fastest time."
I wipe a drip of sweat off my forehead. "I like trees. So I climb them. Point being?"
"Try making a tree." Logan orders. I float down to the bottom of the massive tower of wood. I had tried this before we climbed up the tree, and the best I got was some dandelions.
I focus my energy and power into my hands. I crouch down and rest my hands on the moist, magic beaten, earth. I take a deep breath and slowly rase my hands, raising a pine tree sapling out of the ground. It's small and weak looking, but I made it.
Mia and Gabe finally make it to the ground and look at my small tree. "Oh my Merlin! You actually grew a tree!" Mia yells at me.
"WHY ARE YOU YELLING‽" I yell back in a louder tone.
She rolls her eyes. "You made a tree, one of the hardest things to with earth magic, on your first day of training."
"Yea, yea." I say modestly. "I also lifted an entire pond and made a candle flame reach several feet in the air. I'm amazing, this is why I'm saving the world. Now if you'll excuse me-" I push past them and walk towards the house. "I have a date with Sean."

Fire wing
~~~~~~~
I knock on the door before opening it and walking inside and sitting on the brightly colored bed.Everything in the fire rooms are various shades of red, orange, and yellow. The floor is covered with different colored ashes, then that was covered in glass. A few medium sized snakes roam around in the ceiling pen, covering the entire wing. A green one currently rests in the corner of Sean's room.
Sean walks into the room. "Boo!" I yell at him. "Ah." He says flatly, sitting next to me on his bed and kissing my cheek.
"Soooo... where are we going." I ask, curiously.
"It's a secret!"
In Andy's car
~~~~~~~~~~"Okay seriously, how did you manage to get Andy to let you use his car? He loves this thing more than Jen loves her wand."
As it turns out, Sean was taking me to an old shed. The old she's wasn't the romantic part though. As soon as we pull up, a projector starts to play one of my favorite movies.
The movie is a really old movie (not even in 3D) called The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It's a movie based off the second book in a trilogy.
"So I grew a tree today." I tell Sean, during one of the less exciting parts.
"What'd you name it?" He questions.
"I didn't name the tree!"
"Why not?!" He asks, looking shocked. "I know! You should name it Groot."
"From Guardians of the Galaxy?" I laugh and roll my eyes.
"Pleeeeeeese." He begs.
"Fine." I give in. "Groot the pine tree. But shut up this is a good part."
A basic gist of the hunger games: 24 children between 12 and 18 are pitted against each other in a free for all fight to the death.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
The main character Katniss shoots an electrified arrow at the "indestructible" force field. She nearly dies and the force field is broken and she's taken into a hover craft.

Back at home
~~~~~~~~~~"Yo Jen!" I yell through the door connected to the kitchen. She comes out of her wizards study and puts her wand in her belt loop.
"Wassup?"
"So I was wondering, why I went to that red room when I fell asleep."
She sighs and starts explaining. "What a sleeping curse does is it sends your spirit to what's called a spirit world." I nod and she keeps talking. "When you woke up, your spirit left. But now since this is probably the first time you went into a real deep sleep, your spirit went back."
"Oh. So basically I can't sleep without getting burned." I show her the burn on my wrist that carried over between worlds.
She holds up one finger and walks into her study. About a minute later she walks out with a sparkling silver locket. It has a strange shape that almost looks like a star. The outside is surrounded by swirls facing different directions jetting out from the locket.
"Put this on when you sleep," she explains. "And you'll be able to control the fire."
I take the locker and let it rest on my palm. "Is it enchanted or something?" I ask, curious about how it works.
"Not exactly." She takes the locket from me and opens it. The color inside is something I've never seen before. I don't even know how to describe it, but it's beautiful and shiny. "This is a special kind of metal that can only be found in a land that only wizards can get to. It has magical properties that allow you to control things in spirit worlds. You put it on when you go to sleep and the fire won't be able to touch you."
That night when I go to bed I slip on the silver locket. I climb into my bed and fall asleep.
