"Could it get any hotter?" I ask awhile later, sweat dripping from every inch of my body.
"I'm literally dying of thirst." Chrissy says and drops her bow hand and her eyes droop.
"Are you insane!" I snap. "Don't let your guard down! If you hadn't noticed, we're in Tartarus."
She lifts her bow back up with great difficulty. "Water!" She yells and runs over to one of the rivers.
"CHRISSY NO!" I yell as she cups her hands in the water and takes a big drink.
Chrystal's POV
I am on fire. Everything burns. But nothing smells like its burning. The excruciating pain fades away and I turn around. "Who's Chrissy?" I ask, giving a fake confused look. A look of panic crosses all of their faces and I laugh. "Just kidding, it was the Pythagorean river or whatever."
"Phlegethon river." Tori says. "Pythagorean was a mathematician. He said that on certain triangles a squared plus b squared equ-"
"Look at my face," I cut her off. "Does it look like I care?" I say seriously. Mia bursts out laughing and nearly falls to the ground.
"Do I need to get the peanut butter back out‽" Tori asks and Mia shuts up and Sean and Jen start laughing instead.
"Peanut butter?" I ask confusedly. "I like peanut butter."
"Mia was jelly so I made a PB and J sandwich out of her face." I join Sean and Jen in their inability to breathe and Mia crosses her arms over her chest and mutters something.

Like an hourish later
Time is confusing in Tartarus

"I didn't know you could talk professionally," Tori murmurs sounding exhausted.
"You aren't the only one of royal heritage." I say. My cousin Jenniveave is the princess of Ayenia (aye-en-ee-a) a kingdom close to Jandisar. "Cousin... princess."
"So we get to spill the blood of two royal descendants tonight." A familiar voice growls. I turn around to see the eyes I watched the light fade out of just days before. I let my arrow fly and get a weird feeling of déjà vu.
The three of them are out quickly, but here when you kill something, it's not gone.
