Chapter Ten Event Two: Demon Killing

This is gonna be a really short chapter but I'm gonna try to finish three other short chapters today so yea

I fly Chrystal over the wall into the flying arena and Minho flys Alexis. No one other than Areoettes had ever been in here before.

"The rules are simple," I state. "There are nine demons. You may only use your water powers to kill them, whoever kills more wins."

I slap the button that closes the walls up completely and slip out before the moving glass reaches the top.

The shadow demons appear and they're off.

I see Alexis make a large ball of water over her head. She gently floats it over to a demon, trapping its head in the water, drowning it in minutes.

First kill: Alexis
Alexis: 1
Chrystal: 0
8 demons left

Chrystal quickly catches up by freezing one, then kicking its head off.

Alexis: 1
Chrystal: 1
7 demons left

They keep going back and forth with who's winning, but eventually, it leads to a tie.

Alexis: 4
Chrystal: 4
1 demon left

Both the contestants are tired out and running low on juice.

Chrystal manages to freeze the last demons head, but Alexis swoops in on a wave and the wave whips the head clean off.

Chrystal hits the button and the glass opens.

"One moment." I tell them and grab Jen, Sean, and Mia, pulling them aside. "Who won?" I ask with panic in my voice. "Chrystal froze it but Alexis snapped its head off."

After several minutes we finally decided on a score.

Alexis: 5
Chrystal: 4
0 demons left
