Tori's POV
It's Monday. Monday means... ugh school. But the water classes with Chrystal and Alexis.

I run a brush through my hair, and put five different products in it to make my curls springy and cheerful. I pull on a teal dress and my black leather jacket and walk out downstairs, not even bothering with makeup.

A grab a bowl and pour some Lucky Charms into it. Jen walks downstairs and looks at my bowl. "How do you eat that?" She asks disgusted.

"It tastes good, shut up." I reply. Jen never cooks breakfast on school days (even though she insists that she needs to) because she would spend an hour on it and would be late. I climb into the front seat if Chrystal's convertible. Alexis and Gabe are in the back and everyone else is in Andy, Minho, or Annabell's car.

I sit next to Sean at lunch at our table with Jen, Chrystal, Gabe, Logan and Alexis. Rachel's table is next to ours, and she sits right behind where Sean usually sits. Rachel turns around to talk to Sean. "Hey." She says flirtatiously.

"Sorry taken." Jen says, she is sitting where Sean is supposed to sit.

Rachel's cheeks turn red and she looks at the rest off the people at the table. When she sees me and Sean her jaw drops. "You can have any girl in the whole school," she starts. "And you choose this BRAINIAC FREAK‽" I stand up, about to pound this bitch to the ground and everyone in the v
Cafeteria looks up. "She thinks she so much better than everyone else cause she skipped ninth grade and she's still in advanced classes. And you two live together! You're practically siblings!"

I take a deep breath and try to calm myself. "There's a lot you don't know about me. And a lot you don't know about Sean. But one thing you should know about him by now, is that he's not going to date. Some idiot who relies on her yellow toothed smile and dumb blonde charm to get guys." I sit down triumphantly and Sean puts his arm over my shoulders.

Me and Sean climb into the back of Minho's car and we drive home.

When we get home I cut myself a piece of cake that Jen had made the day before. The artificially colored frosting turns my mouth blue but I eat it anyway, and walk to the pond to meet Chrystal and Alexis.

The pond is about the size of a small house and deep enough to swim in. The water is perfectly clear and it is surrounded by large rocks. I sit on the tallest rock and look into the water.

I feel a jab in my side and turn around grabbing the hands that did it. It's Chrystal. I let go of her and pull my hair into a pony tail.

Chrystal and Alexis explain how water powers work. To simplify: picture what you want to do, then move your arms in the shape you want.

I picture a basic sphere. I try lifting a large ball out of the water.

AND NOTHING FREAKING HAPPENS!!!

My rage is shown when a gust of wind that Knocks Chrystal and Alexis off their feet.

"Whoa Tori." Chrystal says, lifting herself off the ground. "Calm down. You're not gonna master water over night."

"Yea it took me six years." Alexis adds (unhelpfully) as Chrystal helps her get up. "Just... when you start, are you picturing the sphere?"

"Yea. Oh but let me guess. I have to hop on one foot and wave Jen's wand while doing this‽"

Chrystal rolls her eyes. "You can't get ahead of yourself." She explains. "You have to picture lifting the water, as you lift it. Then picture raising it as you rase it. Then pictur-"

"I get it." I cut her off. I take a deep breath and try once again. I close my eyes and picture myself lifting the water. Keeping my eyes closed, I try lifting the water and molding it into a sphere. I open one eye slightly, then my eyes pop open because of what I saw.

The whole freaking pond, made a sphere floating above our heads. "How the hell did you do that‽" Alexis asks, looking extremely scare and confused... and annoyed. "I'm just learning how to lift a whole freaking lake now!"

"It's more of a pond than a lake." I say, gently placing the water back in its place. It causes a huge splash that soaks us anyway. "And I usually have more trouble controlling things than making them happen. Like when I was first learning winds, I nearly blew the house over."

"So that's what that was!" Chrystal yells, drying the water out of our clothes and hair. Chrystal was already here what I came, but Alexis came a couple months later.
