I forgot to say this in the last chapter, but the character Asher is based off of KindleRules
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After saying goodbye to Asher and her army and promising we will help after our quest, we go our separate ways and we head towards The Chalice of Life.
I give the map to Jen, who is the only one that isn't directionally stupid. Haha just kidding we're all directional idiots! Jen puts a spell on the map that shows where we are at any point.
That night
~~~~~~~~~"This'll have to work for a camp," I say, feeling more tired than I ever have before. Sean lights a fire and me and Jen make sleeping bags appear from thin air. Wizardry is cool.
"I'll take first watch," I say, knowing my insomnia won't let me sleep.
"Me too," Sean says looking at me with those big blue and grey eyes. I smile at him and look away.
"Me and Jen can take second watch," Mia offers and Jen nods.
I grab Alexis's wrist and look at her watch. "I'll wake you up three," I say and everyone climbs into their sleeping bags but me and Sean.
We sit leaned up against a tree and I rest my head on his shoulder. He starts petting my face. "What are you doing?!" I laugh, looking up at him.
"Shh," he replies, still stroking my face. "Shh." I slap his hand away. "Ow!"
"There are people trying to sleep literally five feet away from us."
He huffs and rolls his eyes.

Two Hours Later
~~~~~~~~~~~~I hear something in the bushes. Me and Sean stand up and I fly us both an inch above the ground. Sean makes a fireball and I make my pink wizard...essence ball... thing....
There's a low growl and a snap. "Everyone up!" I yell and within seconds everyone's in battle position.
A massive wolf like creature with human hands instead of paws crawls out of the bushes. It's glowing red eyes look at me with amusement. "The littlest, and the youngest," it starts with a female voice that's almost human, but not quite. "Leading a quest! Too cute."
"And what the hell are you supposed to be?" I ask with steel dripping from my every word.
She chuckles a little. "I'm an Arleana. Sent here by King Nolan. Don't worry, he wants you alive. The rest of you group, well he doesn't need them." She whistles and four more Arleanas come out from the bushes.
I fly up into the air and shoot whatever I can at the creatures to keep them away from my family. One bites my leg and pulls me to the ground. I punch it in the eyes and it loosens its grip enough for me to get free and kick its head, knocking it unconscious.
I shoot over to Mia and help her when I realize that the original Arleana was sitting back and watching the fight. I sneak up behind her and kick her head sideways.
She tries to bite at me but I fly just out of her reach. I shoot a fireball that singes her fur and skin but doesn't seem to phase her. I shoot a ball of essence at her, stunning her instantly. I pull out my wand and point it at the beast. "Alecium!" She flys up into the air and away from us and I can hear the crunch of bones.
The rest of the Arleanas flee to their leader.
