Y/N POV
"Are you sure?" I ask again as she eyes the joint between my lips, the smoke escaping my mouth as I exhale.
"Mhm, gimme." She prompts and I smirk as I pass it over. I watch as she takes a drag that is way too long and pout softly when she coughs into her hand.
"Easy there killer." I tease and she grumbles, reaching over to the water bottle I brought up to the roof with us. I take another drag as she drinks a few sips of water.
"I don't remember it being that intense." She explains.
"Weren't you just smoking a cigarette in Boston?" I point out.
"I took one small breath of it before you caught me...I got it from a stranger. Probably not smart of me." She shares sheepishly.
"Yeah probably not. Good thing I caught you then." I point out and offer the joint after another drag.
She takes it and only inhales a little bit, holding her breath for a second before exhaling. I watch in interest. I always found the action attractive and I let my gaze wander around her face as she brings the joint back to her mouth.
I can already feel my eyelids drooping and my body relaxing, a lazy grin on my face as she stares back at me.
It isn't long until the joint is done and we are both grinning goofily at each other. She leans forward and kisses me softly for a few seconds, leaning back giggling to herself and it makes me smile.
"You're giggly. Giggle." I say the word again thinking it's funny.
"You know that song? You're so highhhhhh, high above me, you're so lovely." She sings adorably.
"Yeah it's a good one." I agree.
"I wrote it about you. Just now." She explains and I laugh.
"No you didn't goofball." I deny.
"You don't know...I could have." She shrugs and makes a silly duck face to make me laugh. She succeeds, but my eyes land on one of my favorite features of hers. Her cheekbones.
I reach out with one finger and poke her cheek. "Your cheekbones are wow, dude."
"Don't call me dude." She complains before playfully biting at my finger still poking her cheek.
"Don't you call him babyyyyy." I sing, waving my arms around a bit.
"Who? Where is this man?" She asks, looking around the empty roof.
"A white man?! NO!" I exclaim and she giggles into her hands.
"We're so high." She decides, a lazy grin on her lips, her green eyes glazed and half open.
"Yeah, just a little." I agree.
"Wanna make out?" She asks and I giggle.
"You always ask that!" I point out.
"It's a valid question Y/N." She shrugs and plays with the ends of her hair. I watch as she gets distracted by her bangs, playing with them as she looks up. I giggle at her crossed eyes and pouty lips. "I can't get them." She mutters, making me giggle harder.
"I have a better one." I share.
"Better what?" She asks, looking at me, her fingertips still grabbing at her bangs.
"I don't know." I reply easily, the thought escaping me. What were we talking about?
"Let's dance." She decides, getting up and wiggling her shoulders around. I jump up to join her and we messily stumble around the roof dancing to no music playing. I grab her hands and dance with her goofily to make her laugh.
