Lizzie POV

"You've brought a picnic basket." I point out when she walks out of the house.

"I am bringing one, yes." She confirms and slides it into the back seat. She turns and pecks my lips before I can react and smirks to herself as she opens the passenger door for me.

"What did you make?" I ask once she sits in the driver's seat.

"You're very curious today...how about you wait and see?" She suggests and I huff in frustration. I don't like surprises.

"Fine. Where are we going?" I ask instead.

"Elizabeth." She warns and I huff, trying to ignore how the way she said my name made me feel.

"Fine. Can we listen to music?" I ask and she smiles, making my lips pull into one as well.

"Of course, Sunshine. Put on whatever you want." She agrees. I grin evilly as I take her phone from the cup holder and search a specific song up. When it starts playing she laughs loudly despite her red cheeks. "Really?" She asks, looking over to me briefly.

"What? It's a catchy song." I shrug, my smirk still present. She rolls her eyes and shakes her head but hums along anyway.

She's got you wrapped around her finger, You try to linger
But she's already on her way to mine

The amusement in her eyes makes me think she is thinking about something that happened in her past but I let it be. It doesn't matter anymore.

It might be a little superficial
She plays with the boys
But she comes home to me
Little fucked up but I think it's official
'Cause she might be your girl
But she's calling me daddy

She peeks over to me with a goofy grin before the chorus starts, her voice starting to ring through the car.

She's mine
She wears a collar with my name
Secretive but not ashamed

I bite my lip when her hand slides onto my thigh, a little higher than expected and I take a deep breath. Yup, I'm definitely hers.

She's mine
But I never tie her down
They always come around

"They always come around huh?" I ask and she chuckles.

"No, baby. It was a joke song, remember?" She reminds me but I hum in thought.

"Were you not seeing two women when we met?" I remind her.

"I was seeing zero women when we met." She smirks and I roll my eyes. Smartass.

"When we saw each other again." I amend and she shrugs.

"Maybe. But it was just a bit of fun. Hailee has always been a good friend." She explains and I nod.

"And Lauren?" I ask, not knowing much about the women that lit up my bug's phone while we hung out that first day.

"She is also a friend. Very talented and fun to be around. I actually will probably help her out with her album soon." She shares and I fight the urge to frown.

"Oh." I comment as the song comes to an end. I scroll through some more music until picking another song.

"Interesting pick." She comments as the song plays, her fingers tapping out the beat on my thigh.

"It's catchy." I comment and she smiles.

What I need, what I need, what I need
Is for you to be sure, no, no, no
For you to be sure, no, no, no
For you to be sure, no, no, no
What I need, what I need, what I need
Is to tell me that it's yours, no, no, no
And who you do it for, no, no, no
Need you to be sure, no, no, no
