I'm dreading getting out of bed.

Today is the day I have to say goodbye to my brother and I feel...numb.

When I open my eyes I realize I'm alone in bed and sigh.

Marie and Derek are in the Master Bedroom, Lizzie in one guest room, Hailee and I in another while Pam is in the basement on a couch. I don't know where the fuck Harry decided to sleep but I know he's around here somewhere, he refused to leave last night.

I'm grateful for him. I missed him a lot. We have a lot of work to do on his album but he won't let me talk about it.

Lizzie and Harry got wine drunk last night and it was hilarious. He was his charming self and she couldn't help but blush. I might have gotten a little pissy about it and left to go to bed.

I take a deep breath and look over to the door when it opens softly. I smile at Aiden's little head peeking through before he walks in.

"Auntie Marie said I'm not going to school today because of the funeral." He shares and climbs up onto the bed, slowly shifting to cuddle up to my side.

"Yeah, we are celebrating your parents' lives today...to say goodbye." I explain.

"Why do I have to say goodbye? Can't I still think about them?" He asks.

"Of course you can. You can always think about them and talk about them. Today is about making sure they can rest knowing all of their loved ones are okay." I try to explain and he hums in thought, tracing shapes on my arm.

"Okay. Then we can say see you later, instead." He decides and it makes my heart tighten in my chest.

"Yeah, that's a good idea." I confirm. I wish Lizzie was here to hear that.

"You are playing To Build a Home." He remembers.

"I am...do you want to help me out?" I ask, hoping he says yes so I have someone there making me feel better.

"Yes. I want to sing." He decides and I smile.

"I think everyone would like that. Can I harmonize with you?" I ask.

"Yes. I like when we sing together." He confirms. The door opens again and I smile at Mia who is still in her pajamas.

I pat the bed and she slides into bed with us, snuggling into my other side. "So, I know today is going to be a lot, but I want to share something happy with you." I explain.

"Okay. What is it?" Aiden asks, Mia's interested gaze on me.

"I talked to Auntie Marie and she said she would love to take you in. She is even going to move here with Uncle Derek and Charlie and you will all live together here. How does that sound?" I explain to the two.

"I like that idea. I can go to school here and I don't have to move out of the house and I like this house." Aiden shares.

"I like it too. I don't have to leave my friends and we get to have Uncle Derek and Auntie Marie taking care of us. I love them a lot." Mia adds on.

"But Auntie, I like you being here." Aiden realizes.

"I like being here and hanging out with you too. But my home is in New York and I work all over the country. I move around a lot." I explain.

"But, you will still visit right?" Mia asks.

"Of course I will. It will be just like before. You can always FaceTime or call me or text me. I will come to visit for fun and for holidays so we can all be together." I explain.
