You always told me He's the saviour
You always told me He's the one
How can He judge on misbehaviour?
On anything I've said and done
Miracles to cure the sick and poor
Drives Demons from the swine's
Yet Cancer kills there is no cure
And men give their lives to wine
I didn't know they called Him Jesus
That He sat at the right hand of God
That He is the one to forgive us
In his presence we stand in awe
Yet one day He gave my soul back
Saved my child on a single prayer
As old memories haunted and attacked
He blessed us with his loving care
Who thought that He'd forgive me?
Changed my curses into love
Answer the questions on my plea
Shine His grace from up above
I didn't know they called Him Jesus
That He sat at the right hand of God
That He is the one to forgive us
In his presence we stand in awe
Jesus, I didn't know The
Forgive me I didn't know
You're my guidance, You are true
In Your spirit I stand in awe
