Phoned you to talk, you were drenched in pain
You couldn't remember if life was all in vane
You felt all the sorrow, memories won't fade
'bout things unimportant and sins that still remained
Just like a tree that slowly grows for years
It cries like the heart with the winter's snowy tears
Seasons might change but love's dreams will stay
It glows, as it burns unchanged as you pray
Some hearts will break to never heal again
Even if we grow, we still feel the pain
Hurt choose no sides it takes what it will
No matter the age, love always takes its toll
Tears runs down your cheeks, it floods in a stream
As it tries to quench the thirst of yesterday's dream
In the shade we spend a moment, our feet in the sun
In the shadow of a Cypress, till the night breeze come
We talk about life and a future to come
And the strange places where the roads could run
Rest your head on my lap, be quiet and mourn
'Till a golden moon's rise breaks through this storm
Years may pass but time never guarantees
That the wind will not whisper his name in the breeze.
