Uncalled fear shinning in your eyes
Tears on your cheek glistening like the stars
Come closer to me, let's sit on my porch
Where sunlight warms us like a glowing torch
Rest your tired mind and head on my shoulder
Nothing really changes we're just getting older
Talk if you wish to or just be still
Even if the moon comes up you know I always will..
Try to take away all the hurt and the pain
Let peace flow over you like a summer rain
I will do this every day for you to be free
Cause you should know, you matter to me
I would package all the sorrow in a neat brown file
And send it far away, a thousand miles
Or throw it in the ocean close to Nowhere land
Or hide it in the dessert's endless sands
Stay with me till silence settles your heart
And makes you see where tomorrow starts
Look how purple flowers lights a kitchen dull
Know you're not alone even if you fell.
If I could heal every wound and scar
Every bit from yonder to a star
I'll plant you're heart full of Christmas trees
Cause you should know, you matter to me
