I wish you could feel what we feel
Every time someone would steal
Our heritage and African pride
When cowards choose to hide
Kill what God gave as a gift
Making us and our kind extinct
Will no one fight to save our kind?
Who will be left just to remind?
Of the story how we came to be
To roam this earth not to be hunted but be free
Graze the prairies under our blue skies
From all that is ours and all of our pride
Now all that is left for us to ask
Is that all humans take up the task
Make all our wishes come true
When you fight for me and you
You can't even see the tears we cry
Every time we say goodbye
To one of our children or a friend
When there is no one who will defend?
Our home and the place we call our own
Right now, we fighting all alone
Will no one fight to save our kind?
Who will be left just to remind?
Of the story how we came to be
To roam this earth not be hunted but be free
Graze the prairies under blue skies
From all that is ours and our pride
Now all that is left for us to ask
Is that all humans take up the task
Make all our wishes to come true
When you fight for me and you
Don't be afraid to raise your hand
Take up the fight and make a stand
