"What did you say?!"
I freak out when I heard him say it. I panic and look around the room and see how the guy earlier blushed and the girls whispered to their friends.
I hear him chuckle while writing on the form. I can't move my feet, no I think my body freezes all over.
"Stop joking around it's not funny," my voice cracks and he looks at me.
"Calm down. I was just amazed by your courage and determination and I like that," he smirks and returns his gaze to the paper. I think an unwanted blush appears on my cheeks.
"If you are doing this to piss me off, then you won," I say and he chuckles again.
"Calm down, you are bothering them," he says and gives me a grin. I look around and see them stare at us suspiciously.
"Moron," I whisper and I doubt he has heard it. I choose to ignore him and walk to the guy earlier to submit my form.
Upon receiving it, he looks shocked. I wonder why his reaction was like that.
"Is there anything wrong?" I ask out of confusion.
"Nothing," he stammers and suddenly puts the form inside the envelope.
"Okay," I mutter.
Is that so surprising to run for the highest position?
I walk out of the room and proceed to meet Chocho in the cafeteria. She texted me that she was waiting for me there.
"So, what happened?" she asks me upon settling down.
"I don't know but I feel weird besides..." I pause and suddenly my face turns annoyed.
"What's wrong?" she asks confused.
"That bastard was there too. The jerk's right he will run for president," I answer and still got that annoyed look.
"You should not get surprised though," she shrugs.
"Yeah, but I think my decision to run for it is a mistake," I facepalm and she looks worried.
"Why? Where does the spirit go to?" she gestures "come on!"
"Seeing that guy's reaction makes me wonder why I agreed to that jerk's suggestion," I drop my shoulders.
"Whose guy?" she twitches her brow.
"The guy from the student council. His face was stunned after seeing my form. What do you think he meant to do that?" I give her a sad face.
"Maybe a bad decision?" she jokes and it makes me more miserable.
"Seriously?" I almost cry.
"No, maybe it's so uncommon for not-so-popular people to run for the highest position," she shrugs.
"But actually, you are not the unknown girl anymore since you got so famous now. I think a smarty like you deserves to be the President your leadership skills are impressive too," she adds.
Yes, I got so famous in a bad way I think. I was humiliated by that bastard countless times.
"But it's a sure loss for me," I say.
"I don't think you are the person who gives up easily. The game has not started yet. Here, have a bite," she offers me a burger. I accept it because my stomach is grumbling already.
"I don't know if I will win this but I should try, right?" I tell her and she nods. I don't know why I feel unmotivated all of a sudden.
"You want to have a fair justice system in this university, right? Now is the chance to make it happen," she pats my shoulder and I look down at my burger.
