(3rd pov)
Two more guys tried to kill her on one day. She thought this couldn't be a coincidence anymore, also knowing what she'll hand over today made her main suspect, Leonardo Hernandez.
This time she was the one who'll see him. The one who'll break the forget each other existence's rule. She stepped in front the door and knocked, the guards standing at the door opened it the moment Leonardo said yes.
She walked in slowly and didn't bother to check around as she had already seen this room before. She sat on a chair and got at the subject without any excuse at front.
"Are you sending people to kill me?" She asked.
She knows its a stupid question to ask cause then he'll say why and you'll reveal yourself but her anxiety had gotten the better of her, there are those times, the most ones in our lives where our bad options are always better than the good logic ones and Selena is going through a moment like that.
"What?" He looked at her, oblivious.
"Don't act unknown!! You send them!!" She accused him.
"Why would I do that?" There comes the screw up part.
"Cause!... cause... caus..." Cause I'm a cop! She wanted to say.
"Cause?" He pressed.
"Forget it!" She started leaving.
He said nothing else to her. She turned back and looked at him in disbelief. He raised a brow and shaked his head, she scoffed and went closer up.
"Don't you have anything else to say?" She huffed.
"No. I already said I didn't do it." He replied.
"Okay." She answered.
"Okay." He repeated.
"Oh!" She exclaimed.
"I'm leaving today, I have been signed to another place which is closer to my hometown and they all talk english there. Let your mom know cause I'm not good with goodbye's." She explained to him.
"Of course, here is all the money you have worked for and thank you for your service." He responded.
"Before I leave... about that night-"
"I've already forgotten about it and you should too. I was drunk and I pushed you into something you said you didn't want too, I really am sorry about my actions but I'm not sorry about my words. Nevertheless you made yourself clear and I got it. I'll deal with the divorce thing you can move on with your life." He said.
He has thought everything out, she thought.
"Well... I'm glad you have the situation in control." She responded in almost a whisper.
He hummed.
"Well, I came here... to..." 'Say goodbye' she wanted to say but didn't.
He looked unbothered by her presence and very bored, she didn't expect that, she didn't think he would be crying on the grounds for her but she didn't think this cold as well. He acted as if he has never said those words or was joking her around.
"Well... have a good day." She said and left.
He put his papers down the moment the door closed and sighed. Did he really think this right? Is his plan going to work? What if not? She'll leave... he won't see her again. The doubts in his heart were rising yet he didn't do anything.

(Selena's pov)
I don't know what to do!! Everyone is waiting for my answer before doing anything. As an idiot I am, I kinda lied and said I lost my evidence, I don't know why but at last minute I felt like this wasn't the right time.
