Chapter 39- I'm leaving with a broken heart

"Bye, Brittany! Take Care there! We will miss you so much! ILOVEYOUUUU honey."sigaw ni Enzo na sya namang nakakuha ng atensyon ng ilan dito sa Naia Departure Area .

"I'll miss you too. See you soon! I will be alright there! Bye!" Kinawayan ko na sya

At naglakad na kami ni kuya. "Britt, say that you will be alright there!you know, with Auntie Carol and Dad."

"Kuya, I will be. Dont mind me."

Nang makarating na kami sa assigned seat namin ay natulog na kami.

After 20 hrs nandoon na din kami sa tinutuluyan namin here at US. Alas dos ng hapon na dito sa US since kahapon pa kami umalis. Nagpapahinga pa si kuya.
Iba talaga dito sa US Parang walang problema.

Nagpunta muna ako sa Sala at nakatingin sa mga batang naglalaro sa labas. I missed being a kid no heart ache.

"Brittany you're here na pala" nagulat ako dahil nandito na si Carol. "Nag-lunch na ba kayo? Kadarating ko lang from work."

"Oh please, dont act like you care. As if naman Carol." Sabi ko until now i can't accept her and the fact that she's my dad's wife.

"Brittany come on, can't you see? I want to have a perfect family. That can called me Mom or Auntie, you're hard to reach brittany" she said with a devastated voice. "I want to give this family a blast with me. Im doing this all because i want you and Dave like me as your stepmother. Please accept m--"

"What? Do you hear yourself? Do you know what are you saying huh?! Look, it's so hard to accept you. After all what you say to me, to my family,to all of this. God, this woman is insane" i said with my frustrated and shaking voice.

"Brittany, what the heck is happening?" Nagising na pala si Kuya Dave. "Auntie,what is it? Please stop shouting "

"How ha dave? Please tell me how? I always seeking for her acceptance. I've always wanted to go back and take care of brittany because i know what her situation is. But no matter how hard I try. I always Failed, i always failed because I know that you cant accept me. You both can't accept me." At umiiyak na syang nakatingin sa akin.

"Auntie, please hush. I will talk to her! Calm. " Kinuha ni kuya ang Kamay ni Carol at hinatid nya ito sa Kwarto. That woman. "Brittany, we have to talk."

"About what kuya Dave? If it is all about what happened earlier. I need to rest--"

Nahihilo nanaman ako. Nasusuka, nanghihina. Sumasakit na din ang ulo ko.

Napaupo ako sa sofa. "Kuya, would you please give me a water nagmamadaling kumuha si Kuya ng Inumin.

"Are you alright?" Nag-aalalang tanong nya.

"No, i feel---" everything went black again.

@ St. Patrick Hospital

"Please, hurry up Davies. She badly need you here. Okay okay, take care!" Narinig ko ang boses ni carol, im in a hospital. Napalingon sya sa akin. "Oh, Thankgod, you're awake. Are you feeling alright? I know medyo hilo ka pa. Brittany you need to rest don't stress out your self. Don't overthink about things. " Nag-iwas ako ng tingin sa kanya. she sighed. "Your leukemia is in Stage 1. Im sorry but you have to know about it." Sa puntong yon bigla akong napalingon sa kanya.

"What?! No. It can't be"i said with panting voice.

"Shhh, i know. I will be your doctor. I will take care of you. I will be your guardian. I will help you to cure that sick of yours."
