"All the incandescent stars of heaven will die at the end of days, your gentle soul given to damnation~" Johnston was sitting at her usual spot near the cliff, singing a song.

"Crimson moon shines upon a town that is smeared in blood~" She continued to sing.

"That's a sad song Johnston... where did you learn it?" Gambier asked as she walked up behind the Destroyer.

"Hmm? I don't know... I've been singing it since I came back. It's soothing for some reason." Johnston said as she looked out to the water.

"I guess it helps in stressful situations..." Gambier replied.

"Yah it does..." Johnston said. She never turned her head during this conversation, instead she opted to continue looking towards the sea.

"Sunset... is that why you're here?" Gambier asked Johnston.

"..." She didn't respond.

"Liang... Sammy is worried about you... you looked like you took a beating in that last battle." Gambier said.

"I'm fine, nothing I can't handle." Johnston said.

There was silence for a little while, the only thing to break said silence was the crashing of the waves on the shore below.

"... We're helping the human crews clean up and rebuild... You wanna come?" Gambier asked Johnston.

"I couldn't beat her..." Johnston said quietly.

"Who...?" Gambier asked, a look of worry appeared on her face.

"That siren... other things..." Johnston responded.

"It doesn't matter for now... everything had gone to heck back there..." Gambier said, attempting to reassure the destroyer.

"You're right... I'll just have to take the head of the dragon off." Johnston said as she stood up sounding determined.

"That head being...?" Gambier asked, a little sceptical of Johnston's sudden mood swing.

"I got a bullet and a lance with Yamato's name on it..." Johnston said.

Silence again. Johnston was waiting for Gambier to say something. Gambier, on the other hand, was having a conversation with a different person...

"This girl is insane... Yamato!? You and I both know how strong she is... that beam back there didn't have even a tenth of the power I felt from that damn fox!" the voice of Phoenix yelled into Gambier's mind.

"You're right... she wasn't able to take out that siren... Yamato... Yamato would wipe the floor with her..." Gambier replied somewhat saddened.

"If you want here to keep breathing you need to convince her not to fight her... somehow..." Phoenix said.

Gambier didn't respond, instead she gave Johnston a stern look.

"I can't let you." Gambier said as she looked Johnston in the eyes.

"What?" The silver haired girl asked.

"You're not going to be fighting Yamato." The crimson haired woman stated.

"No you." Johnston answered in a childish manner.

"Stop Joking around Johnston! This is serious... You will not under any circumstances be fighting IJN Yamato." Gambier reiterated.

"But why? Do you just think I'm too weak!?" Johnston asked as she started to get mad.

"No it's not that it's just... Yamato and that siren... The power difference between the two is immense! And that was five months ago... if she's learned how to control her abilities like I have I... It's my belief that you wouldn't be any more than a flee to her..." Gambier confessed.
