A calm breeze swept through the land of the Sakura on a bright sunny day. It created a relaxing atmosphere for everyone that was outside, and it just so happens a certain battleship decided to take full advantage of it.

"Keep your eyes closed… deep breaths…" The one known as Thunder spoke to Yamato as she meditated with her sword.

"..." The white furred kitsune did what Thunder said.

"Good good… you should feel every fiber of your body, everyone movement on the ground…" Thunder added.

"Hmmm…" Yamato hummed as she continued to focus. Her sword seemed to respond as lightning arced from it to Yamato's eyes.

"Good… Now open!" Thunder instructed, and once again Yamato did as told.

"Hmmmmm… This is not Sakura…" The battleship said as she scanned her surroundings. There was water everywhere on the ground, although it didn't make her clothes wet. Above her was a seemingly infinite amount of stormlouds

"Indeed it isn't." Thunder said as she appeared in front of Yamato.

“Hehe… I didn’t think I would be back here…” Yamato thought as she looked at Thunder.

“Well you’re about to embark on arguably the most important mission ever… for you at least. I thought it would be best if we talked face to face.” Thunder said offering Yamato a small smile.

“Well thanks for that.” Yamato said.

"Well… there's something important you must know." Thunder said, her lighthearted attitude disappearing.

"That is?" Yamato asked.

"That woman we fought a few months ago…" Thunder responded.

"While you have grown exponentially…" The Queen, who happens to be an Oni as well, continued to speak.

"...But she would have done the same. I know, it's why I will be on the front during this operation, instead of sitting at the back." Yamato stated.

"Ah that's good to know." Thunder said as she sounded relieved.

"So how are you?" The lightning queen asked the kitsune.

"In what context?" Yamato questioned.

"How are you feeling…? with everything going on that is." Thunder restated her question.

"Well… let's see, my youngest sister doesn't talk to me anymore, my other sister is depressed… oh and I found out that I was nothing but a puppet this entire time… so yah, I'm perfectly fine." Yamato said, sarcasm ever so present in her tone.

"... I shouldn't have asked… Look, all we have to do is focus on this mission… the rest will come later." Thunder said, probably contemplating her life choices.

"You're right… you're right…" Yamato said as she took a deep breath.

"Hmmm looks like our time is up, open your eyes Yamato, open them." Thunder said.

"Lady Yamato." Akagi said as she stood in front of the aforementioned kitsune.

"Are they ready?" Yamato asked as she opened her eyes, they looked dull yet full of purpose at the same time.

"Yes my Empress." Akagi said with a bow.

"Good. Gather the fleet and have them wait at the docks, you and your sister as well." Yamato said as she stood up.

"Yes my Empress. What about you?" Akagi asked.

"I have something to deal with first." Yamato replied.
