USS Johnston and her friends from Taffy 3 have just been reawakened, and have been tasked with a mission.

It's been a few weeks sice my awakening, since then I was reunited with my best friend Samuel B Roberts, or as I like to call her Sam (this is how Johnston will refer to her going forward), learned how to summon and un-summon my rigging along with my ship at will, as well as learning how to fight in this new form, although that last part happened in china lake.
But right now I'm waiting for the transports that are going to take Sam and I to San Diego where we will be sent on our firs mission!
It was just then that Sam came up to me with two milkshakes in her hand.
Samuel: here ya go, chocolate just how ya like it!

Johnston: thanks Sam, but you do know I could have gotten my own right?
Samuel: yah I do, but I just thought I would do something nice!
Johnston: But you're all ways nice.
Samuel: So you want me to be mean then?
Johnston: a- no tha-
She stuck her tongue out at me.
Samuel: haha just kidding
Johnston: hehe. By the way, do you know what we're gonna do when we get to San Diego?
Samuel: other than the mission briefing, no. I'm going to assume that you don't know either.
Johnston: yep.
We spent the next few minutes in silence, sipping away at our milkshakes, waiting for the transports to arrive.
After about five minutes my milk shake was done and I was getting restless.
Johnston: UGHHH WHERE ARE THEY!
Samuel: calm down Johnston, they will be here in a bit.
Knowing better than to anger her I simply sat down and waited.
Funny enough they were here within a minute, and just like that off we were to San Diego! ______ (3rd POV)
Johnston: Hey mister!
She said while taping one of shoulders of an agent who was in our car with us.
Agent: hmm?
Johnston: how long is this trip supposed to take?
Agent: not too long, only about 4-5 hours.
Johnston: Really?!
Samuel: hey Johnston look! that sign says welcome to San Diego!
Looking out the window Johnston sees what she's talking about.
Johnston: YAAAAAY! That's one step closer to show timeeee!
