USS Johnston and her friends from Taffy 3 have just been reawakened, and have been tasked with a mission.
That mission is to help Azur Lane in its fight against the Sirens, and now, the Crimson Axis.

"Come on… let's get you out of here." Johnston said softly to Gambier after kneeling next to her.
"Can you walk? Or do we- I need to carry your ass." Johnston said attempting to lift the carrier's spirits a little.
"Ha ha. I can walk… but I'll need some help." Gambier said with a small chuckle and a smile.
"Come on then… let's go home." Johnston said as she gingerly put one of Gambier's arms over her shoulders, letting the taller woman lean on her for support as the two skated away.
"So mis hero… what are your plans when we get back?" Gambier asked.
"Well… first you need to rest up… uhhh then… then we're gonna go to the beach! Yah the beach! You me and Sammy!" Johnston responded enthusiastically.
"I'm sensing an 'and then'..." Gambier thought aloud.
"And then we can go to the movies… a theme park… oh I know! We can travel all across the country… and and then the world!" Johnston replied again, a childish grin on her face.
"Ah haha… No matter what happens… don't change. Ok Liang?" Gambier said as she used her other hand to rub Johnston's head.
"Mmmhmhm~!" Johnston hummed as her head was rubbed.
"You got a deal as long as you stop doing things by yourself." The destroyer answered enthusiastically.
"What? I do-" Gambier stopped mid sentence as she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Within what was probably a fraction of a second her eyes went wide as she looked at Johnston.
"Shit!" She yelled as she used the last bit of energy she had to push herself away from Johnston.
“Huh?!” Johnston exclaimed as she was shoved, causing her to fall on her butt.
“Ack!” The carrier winced in pain.
“Ugh….. Gambier why did you-” Johnston was about to ask Gambier before She froze as she saw the state Gambier was in.
“Nng… Damn…” Gambier said as she looked down at the border line holographic sword lodged in her chest.
Blood was dripping from the end of the blade that managed to pierce straight through to the other side of her body, along with some odd purple sometimes blue particles.
"I-I…" Johnston sputtered out as she stared in complete and utter shock at Gambier who sat there with the sword through her chest.
VWOOOM
A large pillar of light erupted from around the water where Yamato's body lay. Its color matching that of the sword lodged in Gambier's chest.
It stayed there for a few moments. The sound it produced was a defending screech that would put fear in the hearts of anyone. Yet there sat Johnston unmoving and unbothered.
Suddenly it was blasted away to reveal a tall black haired horned woman floating there, nine white, red and yellow tails flowed behind her.
