It was a rather nice day in the Sakura Empire, the breeze was soft, the sun was shining, it was warm, all in all it was a nice day.

Somewhere on the base we find the legendary battleship Yamato swinging a black and purple blade, trying to perfect her technique, something she had been doing for months now.

Yamato: YAAA. HYYA!

The sword that she was swinging then made a sound, almost as if it was speaking, which prompted Yamato to stop... Wait... it is speaking-

Sword?: I think that should be enough for today. You shouldn't burn yourself out during training-

Yamato: I know thunder I know. I still have a lot of things to do as the leader of the Sakura Empire.

The entity known as thunder that inhabited the sword then answered in a rather pleased tone.

Thunder: Good, just making sure you know.

Yamato sheathed the blade and attached it to her hip before looking over in a certain direction before walking in said direction.

Yamato: Alright, time to see what my sisters have been up to.

Thunder: Probably lazing around...

Yamato frowned at this and snapped back at the Sword.

Yamato: That's just Shinano! Even then she genuinely can't help it!

Thunder: Calm down...

Yamato: Hmph.

The two were now walking along a path next to a lake, admiring the scenery as she went by.

Yamato: I forgot how beautiful the area near the estate was...

Thunder: Well you haven't been home for a while.

Yamato: Yes I know... but it still astonishes me.

She continued walking, but it wasn't long before she arrived at the enormous compound that was the Yamato estate. It was a large and beautiful building, looking like that of an ancient palace from the age of the samurai.

Yamato walked up to the door and was about to knock on it but was greeted by Suruga who opened the door.

Suruga: Ah! Lady Yamato, you're back!

Yamato: It's good to see you, old friend.

Yamato brought Saruga in for a hug and the two stayed there for a few seconds before letting her go.

Saruga: Please come in!

She stepped aside, allowing the battleship to walk inside before closing the door behind her.

Yamato: Thank you Saruga.

Yamato and Saruga continued walking down the entrance lobby and decided to catch up given how it's been so long since the two spoke in person.

Yamato: So how have you been, Saruga?

Saruga: Just fine lady Yamato. As for your sisters they are also doing well-

Yamato: I didn't ask about my sisters, I asked about you.

Saruga: Well, I'm doing just fine as I have stated... but I will be honest, I do miss having you around more often.

Yamato: Yah I miss being here too...

Yamato's ears flattened on her head, a hint of sadness.

Saruga reached over and touched Yamato's shoulder causing the latter to jump a little bit.
