"A grave and everything, huh." I thought a loud as I looked at the gravestone that had been made for me.
"They shoulda known I would be back." I said as I looked up to the sky. It was a bright day with clear skies and everything. But that wasn't my main focus. Right now all I wanted to do is get used to living here... you know, acclimate.
"Where should my first stop be though?" I hadn't really thought about this at all since arriving here yesterday... Oh yah yesterday.

I was sitting on top of Cassablaca’s carrier when I heard her yell out to me.
“Here we are Johnston!” Casablanca said to me as we pulled into the port belonging to Azur Lane.
“Is it just me or are there way fewer girls than I thought?” I said as I peered over the edge to find three women and a smaller girl waiting for us at the docks.
Casablanca then looked over at me and then back at the four that had gathered at the pier. “They probably haven’t informed anyone else. Maybe they want to keep this under wraps?” She said while putting her hand to her chin.
“Maybe.” I responded. Not long after I said that I felt the ship come to a halt. “So we’re ready to go?” I asked Casablanca “Yes. I think it’s time you were finally brought home.” She responded. To be honest I wasn’t completely sure what she meant by that last part, but hey, I’m back I guess.
We walked down a gangway and over to the ladies that came to greet us. Once there I saw that my two friends were holding back tears as well as the fact that they looked confused as hell. Regardless of that I decided to direct my attention to them.

…
Gambier then smiled causing me confusion.
“It’s really you.” She said as she dashed over and hugged me. “I uh… How did you know? I didn’t even say anything.” I asked her, Completely puzzled at how she knew it was me, despite the obvious difference in appearance.
"I know our Johnston. It's definitely you!" She said as I felt a small wet patch form on my shoulder. I looked out of the corner of my eye and found that Gambier was crying into my shoulder. I simply hugged her back and closed my eyes.
"Yes it's me Gambier, I'm ho- AH!"
CRASH
I was interrupted when a small object came hurtling at myself and Gambier and knocked us over.
"Ow ow ow…" I said as I sat up. When I opened my eyes I found Sammy hugging me tightly. Almost as if I would disappear when she let me go.
"Y-your alive!" She barely managed to say before she started to cry as well.
I simply laid my hand on her head and stroked it as a small smile grew on my face. "Yeah Sammy I'm alive and I'm here to stay."

So what do I do now? I asked myself as I looked up to the sky. It was a clear day with barely any clouds in the sky. "This might be the best day ever." I said out loud before I heard a pair of steps approach me.
"You know even if things don't go your way, you still persevered." I said to myself. Not long after the sound of footsteps stopped behind me.
"Talking to yourself?" A voice I knew all too well said.
"Just looking. This was your design right?" I said jokingly as I turned around to find Gambier Bay looking at me with a small smile on her face.
"Hehe. You know I don't have the skills for that." She said with a chuckle.
