Greyson kindly ties my hands up as soon as he drives up to a small cabin looking house surrounded by thick trees.
He leaves me in the car for a couple of seconds as he gets out and walks around to my side, opening the door for me.
Greyson sighs and kneels down next to me. "If you try to run, you'll break your promise and I'll break mine." He warns me as he grabs me by the rope around my wrists.
He smiles at me but it's a serious threat. I nod and slowly stand up with him.
I stare up at the charming cabin. "Is this yours or did you kill the owners?" I ask him. I phrase it like a joke but it's a serious question.
Greyson doesn't answer me. He continues pulling me by my wrists towards the cabin door.
I'm not sure if I prefer having an answer or not.
He hesitates, but he lets the rope on my wrist go so he can unlock the cabin, giving me an unsure look as he briefly turns his back to me.
He's worried I'll run but I've told him I'm incapable of it. Besides, the closest town—my town—is over an hour away. And by the time I get there to tell the cops, he'll have escaped already. It's not worth it.
"Come." Greyson demands, not giving me much of an option when he grabs the rope again. He tugs me inside and shuts the door behind him, locking it.
I uselessly follow him through the cabin. He leads me up the stairs and to a room that I assume is his. The bed is made and the place pretty much looks spotless.
The murderer is a neat freak.
Greyson grabs me and pushes me down to sit on the foot of the bed. I tense, my eyes widening as I stare up at him and wait for him to make his next move.
He frowns at my expression. "I'm not a complete monster, Sophia." He mumbles, taking a short step back from me.
I blink. "Serial killers have morals?" I quietly ask, genuinely surprised. He murders people but he stops at assault. Not even Peter stopped.
Greyson smiles. "Some of us." He confirms, shrugging. "Stay here." He demands, turning to walk towards another door in the room. He suddenly stops and looks back at me. "Please." He quietly adds before slowly walking towards the door, opening it and disappearing inside.
He's either really lonely, or he doesn't want to be caught. Or both.
He comes back mere seconds later with his hands completely full with supplies. Rubbing alcohol, bandages, tiny bandaids you'd get at a corner store, pretty much everything he needs and then some.
He dumps everything down on the bed next to me. I stare at it before I look up at him, frowning. "This is great and all.." I nervously begin, afraid of what his reaction will be to my words. "But I'm pretty sure I need a hospital." I whisper.
Greyson shakes his head. "No. No hospitals, no cops, no parents, nothing." He dismisses me and starts opening one of the bandage packs. "I got this." He announces, way too confident.
I sigh and watch him struggle with the box. It's a little pathetic.
I reach out and take it from him, simply peeling back the tape instead of destroying the box like he was trying to do. I hand to back to him, giving him a deadpanned expression.
I do that with my hands tied together.
He slowly takes it from me. "Thank you." He mumbles as he starts taking the bandages out.
