"Grey!" She calls in a singsong voice. I look away from the tv and towards the doorway, watching her hurry in.

"Yeah?"

"Did you take something out for dinner this morning?" Sophia steps closer to the couch, gently reaching out to start petting Clementine beside me.

I frown. "No." I mutter. I forgot just like she did.

Sophia frowns too. "What do you wanna do?" She asks, dropping down beside me.

"Pizza?"

She shrugs. "Sounds good." She sighs and looks down at Clementine with a small smile. "I want to go outside and do my garden." She informs on a hum, already getting up from the couch. That's all she really wanted to tell me, I assume.

I nod. "All right." I reach over to grab the remote and turn the tv down so I'll be able to hear her. "Don't touch those bunnies, Soph." I quickly add. "You don't know if they're sick."

She scowls. "They're not sick." She argues. But neither of us know that for sure. I smile at her while she shuffles out for the room.

I sigh and reach over to turn my phone to me, checking the time. It's only two, so I decide to wait a little while before I go get pizza.

Then again, maybe it'd be smart to leave now, just so I have it for her when she's hungry. She's not hungry now, but she might be by the time I get back.

I glance at the doorway at the sound of Sophia's voice from down the hall. "Clem," She calls.

I blink when I realize Clementine isn't beside me anymore. She must've gotten up to follow Sophia.

"Clem, no." Sophia scolds. I watch the doorway, curious about what Clementine has done wrong. "Clementine!" Sophia huffs. My eyebrows raise.

She's in big trouble if Sophia's calling her by her full name.

It's scary when Sophia calls you by your full name. The scariest thing I've ever heard was Sophia angrily shouting 'Greyson!' from somewhere upstairs. I was in a lot of trouble that day.

Sophia gasps sharply. "No! Clementine!" She scolds. There's a hint of urgency in her voice. Fear.

That gets me up off the couch, venturing off down the hall to figure out what the hell Clementine is doing.

"Grey!" Sophia shouts for me before I make it to her. I speed up, quickly meeting her at the back door.

"What?" I question, glancing around for Clementine.

"Oh my god," Sophia huffs, moving further outside. I follow her, having my shoes on this time around. I've learned from my mistakes.

"What?" I ask again. "Where's Clem?"

"Gone!" Sophia groans as she turns to me. "She ran out before I could stop her!" She points out to the trees.

"What?" I start scanning the tree line. I see absolutely nothing.

"Oh god." Sophia breathes, hurrying further outside to try to find Clem. "Clementine? Come here! It's okay!" She assures, calling out to her. "I'm not mad."
