✶𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚢✶
I wake up to an entirely silent cabin which is a little confusing since the last thing I remember was watching an afternoon movie with Sophia.
I guess I fell asleep, she might've gotten bored and left me.
"Soph?" I grumble, forcing myself to get off the couch. I groan from the little ache in my back from sleeping on the couch. Or napping on the couch. It's kind of the same thing.
I do the regular sweep of the cabin, checking everywhere for her. I don't find her so I start sliding some shoes on to check outside at her garden.
She isn't out here, but it looks like she may have been messing around in her garden recently.
Confused, I begin wandering around in search for her, heading back inside only to go towards the front door to check the front.
I find her the moment I open the front door and just blink a couple of times at what I'm seeing.
She seems to have found a hose and a bucket so she can wash my car. She has a sponge too and is leaning up against the side of the car to try to get the whole hood of the car.
She's also just so casually in a pair of shorts and her bra while doing all of this. It's like from a classic movie where the directors are just trying to give some fan service to keep the audience's attention.
And suddenly, the giant dent on my bumper is a thousand times more worth it.
Sophia notices me quickly. She grins and takes a small step away from the car, tossing her sponge in the bucket. "You're finally awake!" She happily points out.
I lift my hand for a slow wave, doing my best to pay attention to what she's saying.
"I think this lovely baby is happy with it." Sophia puts her hands on her hips to proudly inspect the car.
Shit, I'm happy with it, never mind the car.
I step closer to her, but still stand to the side to gawk at her while she cleans the rest of the soap off the car.
I can't help but wonder how much of the show I've missed while I was asleep inside. Probably a lot of it considering she's pretty much done now.
"Hey, do me a favor and turn the hose off for me." Sophia requests, looking back over at me when she decides she's gotten all of the soap off.
I groan dramatically as I turn around to walk towards the side of the cabin to turn the hose off like she asked me to. She calls out her thanks to me when I do.
Sophia is in the middle of dumping the soapy water into the bushes by the time I get back to the front. She smiles at me and gestures to my car. "What do ya think?" She hums.
I think I'm going to die.
"I think it's absolutely spotless. Thank you."
That too.
She looks back at the car and slowly frowns. "I couldn't fix it." She mumbles, pointing down towards the big dent.
