"Jasmine! Wake up!" A concerned male voice echoed around her head.
The princess stirred and groaned as she tried to focus on the moving silhouettes in front of her.
Flashes of bright lights shocked her waking senses as she tried to get up from her drowsy state.
"Give her this" a young female voice instructed and handed the male something small and long.
Jasmine's eyes frantically flicked as she tried to focus on the handheld item without success.
"Why did she wait so long?" The male continued and knelt in front of the stirring princess.
He cupped her head in his large hands and rested it on his knees as he pressed the foreign object to Jasmine's quivering lips and held his breath in trepidation.
"Drink" he whispered and tipped the vial into her mouth.
A fizzy purple shimmering substance dripped from the small bottle and slithered down her throat.
Her veins snapped alive as the foreign substance travelled along them like a highway, lighting up the dormant organs in its journey.
Jasmine began to spasm uncontrollably as the pair looked at each other with concern,
"How much Vivus root did you put in it?" The boy screeched.
He tried to hold the princess down but her body developed a new bout of energy from the liquid and he struggled to maintain his grasp.
The girl stepped away from the frenzied scene and began to pace back and forth in terror.
"Oh my gosh! I've killed the heir to the throne!" She cried.
A hue of purple light started to radiate from the princess's body and the boy jumped back in surprise,
"Tiana, what do we do now?" He yelled, looking at his panicked friend for answers.
The petrified girl stopped pacing and the blood ran from her pallid cheeks.
She held her shaky hand up and pointed towards Jasmine, unable to speak due to the alarming scene that was developing in front of her.
The boy slowly turned his head, unsure he wanted to witness what had made his previously fearless friend tremble in horror.
He gasped in astonishment and jumped back at the terrifying sight.
There, hovering three feet from the ground, was the princess, engulfed in a swirling purple ball of mist looking at them with a passive glare.
"Princess?" The boy tried and cautiously approached her.
"Don't touch it, Oren! We don't know what's happened yet" the girl replied and tried to block his path with her glimmering golden wing.
Oren ignored his friend and continued to walk forward, mesmerised by the glowing hue.
He slowly reached out and touched the surging barrier.
"Oren! NO!" Tiana shouted but it was too late.
The ball of mist reacted with the connection and began to swirl uncontrollably, creating a whirlpool effect with the princess in the heart of it.
