"I cannot believe we're having a little girl! I can give her all my old dresses and jewellery" Lili squealed as Jack wondered if he should have told his wife the gender of their baby just before the important ceremony.
"I'm excited too, my love but we need to focus on the ritual tonight and not let any other thoughts or emotions interfere with what we are asking from Luna" He reminded his animated wife.
Lili stopped twirling around his office and let out a deep sigh as she looked out of the window and up to the afternoon sky,
"What if she doesn't agree to the guardians?" She asked solemnly.
Jack joined his wife at the window and held her from behind.
He kissed her rosy cheek and nuzzled his head into her curly chocolate locks,
"If our hearts our pure with the request then how can she refuse? Now, go get some rest as it will be a long night and you'll need all your energy" He resolved.
Lili turned and gazed into her loving husband in the eyes and remembered why she fell in love with him.
"You always know how to soothe my mind" She whispered and gave Jack a soft kiss on the lips.
Returning the caress, he smiled at his adorning wife and concluded,
"That is my job as your husband!"
The queen smiled and nodded as she left the room to rest and get ready for the evening ahead, leaving Jack to finish up some paperwork before their journey.

"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot that was today. Please express my apologies but I cannot do it today. Rearrange it for next week and can you make sure I am not disturbed for the rest of the afternoon and night please" she ordered the blonde woman.
"Of course, ma'am" the obedient slender lady replied as she smiled, nodded and negotiated her golden tutor-styled dress out of the door, leaving Lili to get back to reading the worn book.
