"I think he have DID," a man said to Taehyung after listening to Taehyung's discription about Jungkook's condition.
The man was wearing a white suit with white shirt. He had glasses on.
"DID? What is that?" Taehyung asked in confusion.
"Dissociative Identity Disorder. Normally known as multiple identity disorder. When a person have more than one person in his body," the man explained.
"How many can one have?" Taehyung asked.
"It's not definite. It's can differ from person to person. It's recorded that one person had 36 personalities in him," the man said again.
The man was actually a psychiatrist. His name was Park Won Sik. He was Taehyung's cousin from his mother's side.
Taehyung was worried about Jungkook's condition.
So he called his cousin and came to meet him.
"Why is this caused?" Taehyung asked.
"We can't say for sure why it is caused. But most of the psychiatrist believe that it is caused because of trauma," Park Won Sik said.
"Trauma?" Taehyung asked.
Won Sik nodded.
"Yeah,most of the time it can be childhood trauma. It can happen if the parents are abusive. Or the patient lost someone," Won Sik explained.
"Can it be harmful for the person?" Taehyung asked.
"It depends on situation and what kind of DID the person have," Won Sik said.
"How many kinds are there?" Taehyung asked.
"Mainly,we divide it into two types. In one type,the person doesn't have memories of other personalities. It seemes like the person has amnosia. He forgets everything when other personalities take over," Won Sik said.
"And other one?" Taehyung asked.
"The other one is when all the personalities co-exist. Every personality can have the memory of the other. Even they can communicate with each other," Won Sik said.
"The first type is more dangerous than the second one. Because of not having any memories,the person can have many trouble. Even sometimes has depression which leads to suicide. But the second one is not that harmful. All the personalities have a close bond living together under a dominant personality," Won Sik explained.
Taehyung nodded.
Jungkook had three personalities but they didn't have any fight. JK seemed to be the dominant one.
"Can it be cured?" Taehyung asked.
Though there didn't seem to have any problem, Taehyung still was worried about Jungkook.
"No,there is not any cure," Won Sik said shaking his head.
"Taehyung -ah, don't be upset. I need to talk to the patient so that I can understand his situation. Even if there is no cure,one can still live happily with all the personalities," Won Sik said noticing Taehyung's sad face.
"It's okay, hyung. I'll call you when he's ready to meet you," Taehyung said and left the room.
"What is it, hyung?" Taehyung asked Namjoon when Namjoon gave Taehyung a file.
"Open it," Namjoon said.
Taehyung opened the file and saw some documents. It's background report about Jungkook.
"Why did you do it, hyung?" Taehyung asked in anger.
He didn't want his brother to check on his boyfriend.
"Taehyung -ah,you know I had to. I had to know if he had any other motive," Namjoon said calmly.
"What do you mean by that?" Taehyung asked.
"Taehyung -ah, Jungkook's appearance is really doubtful. Why did he save you? How did he know that you're attacked?" Namjoon asked looking at Taehyung.
"I don't know but Jungkook is not Yeon Seok's spy," Taehyung said looking at Namjoon's eyes.
"I know," Namjoon said sighing.
"Then,what is all this about?"
Taehyung asked.
"Have a look in the papers," Namjoon said.
"I don't want to, hyung," Taehyung said.
"Why? You don't want to know what happened to Jungkook?" Namjoon asked.
"I want to but I'm waiting for Jungkook to tell me. He'll tell me when he trusts me," Taehyung said leaving the room.
Namjoon looked at Taehyung's leaving figure with complicated eyes.
