BONUS CHAPTER -02
"Hey,kid," Yongi heard someone calling him.
Yongi stopped going through the trashcan and looked up.
Yongi saw an elderly man wearing a suit looking at him.
Yongi looked at the man in alarm.
Yongi was 9 when his father passed away. One year later,his mother wanted to re-marry so she left Yongi with his father's family. But none wanted to take responsibility for Yongi. So he was send to an orphanage.
For two years Yongi was living in the orphanage.
Living in the orphanage,one thing that Yongi learned was not to trust anyone.
"It's okay,kid. My grandson only wanted to give you a bread. It's his birthday today," the old man said.
Yongi noticed a little boy hiding behind the old man.
His eyes were so clear. It'd been so long that Yongi saw such innocent eyes.He saw Yongi and gave him a shy smile.
"Go on, Namjoon-ah," the old man said to the boy.
"Hello, I'm Kim Namjoon," the boy said bowing.
Yongi didn't say anything.
The boy held the bread in front of Yongi.
Yongi took the bread without hesitation.
Yongi knew this two people were piting him. But it didn't matter. Yongi only wanted to survive.
"Ok. Let's go,Namjoon-ah," the old man said.
The boy gave Yongi another smile and left with the old man.
Yongi held the packet of bread and watched them walk away.
Next day,Yongi went back to the park.
"Hyung," Yongi heard someone calling.
Yongi truned around and found that boy from yesterday.
Yongi looked at the boy. Yongi saw the boy holding something.
"What are you doing here?" Yongi asked the boy.
"I brought some lunch for you," the boy said.
"Do you think I'm so pitiful that's why you're willing to help me? Huh? Who gave you the right? Just because you have money?" Yongi said in a cold voice.
"I just thought you'd be hungry," the boy said in a small voice.
"What?" Yongi asked.
"I don't like when I'm hungry. So I wanted to give you some food. I'm sorry. If you don't like it,I won't bring anymore," the boy said bowing.
Yongi saw surprised. He thought this boy was just a spoiled brat. He didn't think he'd so nice.
Yongi held his hand in front of the boy.
The boy hurriedly gave him the box.
Yongi sat on a branch and started to eat. It'd been so long since he had eaten so good food.
"What's your name?" Yongi asked the boy.
"Kim Namjoon. I'm 12 years old," Namjoon said with a smile.
"I'm Min Yongi," Yongi said," you can call me hyung."
In response, Namjoon gave Yongi another sweet smile.
Yongi noticed Namjoon's dimple.
It started like that. After that day, Namjoon would bring food for Yongi time to time.
Yongi would eat and listened to Namjoon talking about his school and friends.
Yongi wondered why that kid never talked about his parents.
