The forest ground trembled from the sudden roaring of a monstrous creature; birds alike flew in the air, escaping the sudden appearance of a tremendous shocking sound. People living below the mountains heard the cries of the mountain, their hearts shriveled in fear and all kowtowed towards the humongous mountain.

"The mountain God is angry!" One of the villagers shouted and frightened the others.

"Forgive us mountain God!" cried the others, their tears spilling out on their hollowed cheeks.

As they plead for guilt, the mountain does not stop its outburst but instead begins to increase in pitch— screaming out the word prophecy.

At this time, the rest of the people below could finally understand the reason behind the furiousness of the mountain God and began promising to it.

"The prophecy! The mountain God knew of the prophecy, the mountain God must have seen the fourth prince's fate!"

"The fourth prince will return!"

"Mountain God! Mountain God blesses the fourth prince!"

Soldiers patrolling the land ran out and shushed the people's mouths, they were all afraid of the imperial power.

"Stop making rash remarks!" One of the soldiers even demonstrated his fighting ability to one of the villagers.

"Anyone preaching for the prophecy and the fourth prince will be punished!"

But the people's hearts around them grew in doubt; the drought, the war, and the massacre of their people all pointed out the blood that was needed to flow to the land for their nation to prosper.

But what they didn't know was when the mountain was roaring out loud the word prophecy, it was made by a number of young men screaming their guts out at the grimy cave. It echoed below and successfully made the people think that it was made by their mountain God.

"This is just the beginning"

A woman in a cape remarked the people accompanying her had already seen her ability to frighten those naive villagers. Now, it was time for the soldiers and troops around them to be taken down.

"Everything is ready to miss"

She looked at the man who was said to be a retired hunter, he was much leaner and stronger than the villagers. He was a hunter before and knew the mountain at the back of his hand as well as the animals that are in this forest.

"Tell all the villagers who believed in the Mountain God to close their windows and doors. Sprinkle the juice that makes the beasts in this forest stay away from homes"

All that were assigned nodded their heads, as much as possible they also wanted to mobilize these soldiers to publicize what happened today to other villages.

"Then smoke all the insects out and take the tigers and boars out to the troops"

Her eyes lit up against the fire, it chilled the people around her but her determination to live was still waiting for her. She cannot give up and has to arrange it in this way.

Those before her looked at her in difficulty, depending on those beasts and coming back in one piece— this woman that their master assigned to protect them has counted well in her abacus. Even those who have stroked the tiger’s whiskers after doing this job for a long time never thought of these things.

A remarkable woman, pity to not become a man!

...

A new ray of light appeared brightening the horizons yet the doors were tightly closed and nailed to their posts making the whole village eerie.

"Why is there no villager out?" One commander asked, his hawk-like eyes scouted the village.

After the emperor decided to go into battle almost some of the villages that were not handled decided to make trouble. Creating their own army and wanting the fourth prince to be the Emperor; the story of the prophecy still fermenting under closed doors and some officials declaring sickness.

"You, go and look"

The young soldier immediately took action and within a span of a minute, ran out with bites on his panicked face.

"Commander! Run, there are bees and other insects!"

A buzzing sound came from the other side and swarmed to them, not even the commander was spared. Horses neigh loudly and force their owners out of their backs and runoff. Those unfortunate soldiers were on the brink of death as some insects were highly poisonous.

"Let me in! Let me in!"

"Help! Help me!"

"Ahh! Go away! Ah!"

In a matter of an hour, several types of insects were finally annihilated through fire but the damage has been done.

"Back to camp!" The commander survived by putting all the dead bodies as his meat shield.

The bodies of fallen soldiers were left to fend, accompanied by the burning smell of dead insects. The commander's eyes murderously looked at the village, his grim swollen face created a stark contrast to his arrogant temperament before.

As they traveled away from the village, some soldiers have collapsed and died on their way back while the others held on for their lives.

"Kill the villagers after" the commander ordered, his eyes swollen to the point of blindness.

Soon after, they finally reached their camp in dispiritedness, with swollen bodies and limping legs they reached the gates of their camp only to see the violence that ensued inside.

"Wh-what happened?"

Several soldiers three up seeing the dismembered bodies of their compatriots, heads and limbs scattered in different areas as blood spilled in every direction.

"Ughh!"

Tears and shots filled their young, terrified faces and some even ran out in fright. In the spectacle of what their life would be like if they stayed for even longer in this place, they didn't even regret when running.

"Come back here!" The commander sternly ordered but due to the effects of seeing the bloodied scene, none listened. "Those bastards! If you see them, kill those cowards!" He said with gritted teeth, hateful towards the scene of those soldiers tripping in fear.

In the end, they burned every dead body together while one messenger would send this news to the above. On the other hand, the matter of the mountain God speaking out for the prophecy of the fourth prince rang— it fermented after the troops stationed in their village were killed by the beasts living inside the mountain.
